Am gettting silly excited now - We told DD on Christmas Day that she wouldn't be getting any birthdya presents as we were going to DLP instead - she was been uncontrollable aver since - so ridiculously excited. Now to get my DLP book back of DH so I can plan our routes! What recommendations soes anyone have for a 4 year old?

How exciting!! Where are you staying and for how long? There are lots of tips on this site, so have a good look, but here are a few of mine:
- take your most comfortable shoes as there is lots of walking! It should be fairly quiet at the end of Jan, which is great but will mean you do more walking! We've clock over 10 miles some days. Likewise take plasters, calpol etc just in case
- pick up a couple of copies of the park map and timetable at the entrance. They are hard to find once away from the gates so we always pick up a spare as we always lose them.
- shows and parades in the main park are always understandable in English, however some of the studios shows are run in different languages so you have to check when the next show is in English.
- you can't get Robinsons style juice there - its fresh fruit juice, or milk or fizzy. We struggled to get lo to drink much the first time, so we always take a 1ltr bottle to dilute. You can buy water there very cheaply.
I'll probably add more but SHerlock just starting -sorry!

You're there around the same time us as. :goodvibes
It'll be my nephew's first trip he's 5 a few days before so we shall be celebrating a birthday too!
Are you planning a cake, think we're heading to Cafe Mickey for our birthday meal and cake.
Enjoy your last few weeks of planning :thumbsup2

Hi Guys,

We are off on the Eurostar on the 27th Feb coming back on the 29th and we are staying at the Sequoia Lodge, We have Auberge De Cendrillon booked for the Saturday for DD's Birthday. Not sure 2 days is long enough but it is all we can spare. Am worrying about the weather - don't we all!

Would love all the secret hints and tips though. First trip for all of us!

I was saying to my husband recently that I was thinking of taking a pedometer along with me to see how many miles we do over the course of our stay, I think I will do, I bet its shocking!
