$27 pedicure - how much to tip?

I had a manicure today at the mall. It lasted about 45 minutes, she massaged my legs and my feet. How much $ is an appropriate tip? I gave her $4 but I just wasnt sure if that was enough. What IS the appropriate amount to tip?

I usually ballpark 15%--20% if they did something super special. It doesn't sound like a lot--but you were just shy of 15%. $4.05 is 15%. So you did fine IMHO.

You were a tad light...I'd have probably given her $5, but $4 isn't terrible.

I think $4 is fine...I usually give $5 for my $25 pedicure.
