Hoping to spend a full day in Disney with the girlfriend on this day as we are having a 3 day break in paris.

Anyone recommend the best way to get there from Auteil Eiffel hotel?

Also, will it be ok to do the whole park in one day do you think?

Any other help would be much appreciated,

Mills

The RER red line "A" goes direct to Disneyland Park gates.
Go to the metro station Michel-Ange-Auteuil in the direction of Mairie de Montreuil (green line 9) as far as Havre-Caumartin and then go from station Auber to Marne-la-Vallee Chessy on the "A" line. http://www.ratp.info/orienter/cv/carteparis.php
If you only have 1 day I would stick to the main park and just snack on fast food - have a proper meal in Disney Village after the main park shuts. Have fun!!!

Even if you know the park it is not possible to do it in one day. We have been 10 times to DLRP and even we need 1.5 days to do all the rides of the Disneyland park. But then there is also the Walt Disney studios! For the studios you need 8-10h.

If you are a firsttimer and you want to do both parks you need 3 days.

I need 3 days because I want to have enough time for my favourite rides and enough time to soak up the atmosphere!

But if YOU only got one day I give you these advise:

Don't try to do too much. Choose 5-8 rides and one great restaurant (Walt's or Blue Lagoon) and don't forget the parade. And then you will have a magical day!! :wizard:

4pm

What kind of rides do you like? Do you like thrill rides?

I'd actually leave out a restaurant visit - as nice as places The Blue Lagoon are if you are there for one day and want to fit in as much as possible I'd snack on the go.

Hey Mills and welcome to the Board.
You took a good date because your visit is within the Magic unlimited season and so you are allowed to ride many rides as often as you want, without queuing again. Also the crowds on a Thurday will be really very low.

Here are a few tips from me to see the most of the best in one Day:

- Arive early to the Park around 9 am.
- Get in and enjoy the Main Street till they open the doors to the other lands (10 am).
- Wait for the opening in front of Frontierland and go right to Big Thunder Mountain.
- Fetch a Fastpass there and then queue regulary without using it.
- After the ride go to Phantom Manor and enjoy this ride a few times (it is really great while magic unlimited (mu), because your eyes get
used to the darkness repeating the ride and you see more and more detaills each time)
- Go back to Big Thunder Mountain and use your Fastpass.
- After the ride take a snack and walk on to Adventureland. Get there a Fastpass for Indiana Jones if there are any queues. If you are on
the Ride and liked it, don´t forget, they have "mu" too.
- After that head on for Pirates of the Caribbean and ride this one a few times.
- If you needed an Indy Fastpass use it now.
- Go on to Fantasyland and fetch a Fastpass for Peter Pan.
- If you like do the Snowwhite or/and the Pinochio ride look if there are queues. Don´t do them with long waiting times and come back another day to see them.
- After that go to it´s a small world, if there is a queue it doesn´t matter because they decrease very fast (mu here also).
- Time for another snack or some shopping
- It should be time for your Peter Pan Fastpass by now, so use it.
- Head now for Discoveryland and get a Fastpass for Space Mountain M2.
- Go over to Honey I shrunk the Audience and Star Tours and do this both.
- Use you Fastpass for SMM2 and ride it several time (mu here also)

This is just my optimal dayplan. Probably here are some more.

All this is just possible with less crowds, which you propably won´t have and the great Magic unlimited season. I was there a year ago and thought it is great. A few days after your stay I will be over there again.

But anywhere how you like to handle this one Day enjoy the magical feeling of a Disney Park and have a lot of fun.

Thanks for the replys!

Saying im inexperiences with Disney would be an understatement. I really have no clue at all.

We are planning to get there in the morning, hopefully the park is easily accessible from Paris?

And hoping to do as much as poss. Studios, Rollercoasters, and eat if poss, as really this is the only day we can spend there.

Recommendations for how much to take?

Sadly it doesn't look like Phantom Manor is a MU ride this year. :sad2: Here's the list of the ones that are.

Welcome to the DIS Mills :wave2:

Hey Bexx,

I know that Phantom Manor isn´t on the MU-Plan for this year, but out my experience from last year I know that it is during the Week never ever near of his Capacity.
Last year I had the great joy to spend 4 rides in a row allone in the attraction and on our third ride the CM´s stopped the ride on all the great places like the Ballroom so we were able to enjoy every detaill. It was great.

That sounds wonderful - I adore Phantom Manor!! I was looking forward to going round several times and being able to stay in my doom buggy. But I also love the hallway bit where you walk through to the buggys, so whatever happens will be great!
