Thanks. I don't think I was clear in my question. Maybe what I'm looking for doesn't exist. If I use the link here, or the back button, or search for free books, I find them.

I was wondering if there was a specific link on the kindle ebooks page that would take you direct to the current free books.

But it's not a big deal. I can just use the search feature.

OR from amazon.com, click on kindle from the list on the left side. Then click on ebooks. Under "special features" on the next page click on "kindle bestsellers". There will be a list of the top 100 free books on the right. List is updated hourly.

Thanks, OP! I bought about 23 books and had them sent to various devices; my kindle, my daughter's kindle and my other daughter's iPad. The SAT and AP books are perfect for my DD16!

From your kindle, you can go to shop in the kindle store. Once there, go down to kindle top sellers. On the next page, move the cursor up and to the right where it reads "kindle top 100 free". This will bring up a page with the most actively purchased free books. List is updated hourly.

op here...... they usually add free books almost everyday.... so I have gotten into the habit of checking daily..... some books are only free for a few hours...

Yes. They also have childrens books. But the kindle is an e ink device and not in color. So a child would probably not be impressed with the picture books.
