I have read all of Barb's feed back on this room. Has anyone else stayed in this room, or is it now always empty due to the noise problems??? ;)

We received our room assignments and they are 2626, 2624 and 2622. I already have an email into our TA for room changes, but I'm just curious if anyone else has had problems here? Also which is better midship or aft? I always thought midship was, but I've never cruised before.

Thanks!

So it looks like no one else ever had this room except Barb?

Anyone? Just curious.

I would be interested to hear this also. We have been assigned this cabin (2626) for the CA to FL repositioning cruise next August.

I stayed in room 2628 last Oct. I know its not 2626 but it was right next door. I didn't notice any noise except the early morning back to the port. The luggage is stored right near these rooms which I believe is why this noise is heard. Since I needed to wake up early on the last day I didn't see the noise as a real problem.

From what Barb had said in several other posts this room (2626) was very noisy every morning the ship arrived at a port. I'm just curious if anyone else has had this room and had the same problems. If you had this room, was it Eastern or Western or 3-4 day cruise?

I'm booked on the 7 Day Eastern in Sept. 2005

**Dont want to hijack the thread... But we are in the same boat**

Thank you for this thread. I as just informed my room on a 7 day was 2624. Which I was not to keen about. I have a 3 yr old and prefered a room mid-ship. Basically away from the back, but that did not seem to happen here. I too feel this area might be a little to noisey. Its the room next to yours so I figure the noise has to be the same.

So how do I try to get a better room location? Do I just ask the TA? Will I be labled a pain in the rear if I call them back for a change or should I just upgrade? I dont just thought I chime in here. Good luck with your room.

Call your TA or DCL and request a room change.

That's what I did.. and I'll find out tomorrow if it works! My TA was out of the office yesterday & today.

Goodluck!

Did you do a search with the room # you had on the boards? That's how I found the information I did about 2626.

Thanks I will call them tommorow. I seen a thread regarding cabins but cant remember where it was right now. But I did go here: www.dcltribute.com and read some of the FAQ's and he listed the rooms that seem to be the ones you want to stay away from if you can.

Will see what they say when I call them back.
