25th Anniversary

I'm planning to take dw to WDW for our 25th anniversary. As a WDW veteran, I have no problem with most of the planning. This will be the WDW trip of her life! I was wondering if anyone had information on special things WDW might do for anniversaries. Any help? Please?

I think it would be fun to do an intimate vow renewal. I am not sure anymore what the cost is, but it really depends on how much you want to spend. If you are looking for free stuff, some people get that and some people don't. It is really hit and miss and I wouldn't want you to get your hopes up. I would arrange dinner at a nice restaurnt do a horse and carriage ride, etc. Those are romantic things that you can do that don't cost too much. Also, I think that there is a happy anniversary pin you can get at the MK. Hope that these ideas help.

Thanks, Jonette. No, I'm not necessarily looking for free stuff (not that I wouldn't take it if offered), but I am hoping there is some way I can build in some extra magic for her. (One I'm planning on already - we usually stay offsite. For this trip, I'm planning to give her 9 nights in a Contemporary Tower MK view room!) The vow renewal idea sounds like a great one. Maybe someone has ideas about that?

If you're looking for something less than a few thousand dollars though, I've heard the Wishes cruise is very romantic, I haven't done it personally but folks on the boards say it is very nice. DH and I just love to see Wishes from the MK and find that romantic, if not a bit crowded some nights!

If you want a quiet, romantic dinner, Bistro de Paris would be a good choice. The spa at GF would be very special for a couples spa day, then a romantic dinner. You can have flowers, chocolate covered strawberries, and other special items delivered to your room, just speak to the resort.
