25th Anniversary special plans

Hubby and I are doing a Land and Sea package in October and we are looking for ideas/suggestions of special things to do while at the park. We will be staying at the Polynesian.

Oh are you brining back memories. We celebrated our 25th in 2000 and stayed 5 days at DXL (now POR) and a 3 day cruise on the Wonder. Our anniversary is October 26th and we sailed away on that day. Very special. We will be in the World this year during our anniversary and I am planning on making PS at the Grand Floridian for High Tea for 2 pm on our anniversary day. I'm keeping it a secret from DH. I think he'll get a hoot out of it. Congratulations on your big day.

I think Afternoon Tea in the GF or dinner at Shula's would be a lovely way of celebrating your anniversary.

Not sure if you mean while you're at WDW or at the parks? Have you considered Victoria & Albert's? I think it would make a wonderful memory. We also love dining at California Grill. If you dine anywhere at GF walking back to the Poly along the lake is lovely and romantic. Be sure to take a ride on the launches.

...and loved every minute of it. Dining at V&A's is an incomparable experience. They treat you like royalty, and it's a meal you'll never forget.

Be sure to tell anyone and everyone that you are there for your 25th anniversary. You might get some nice surprises. You'll DEFINITELY get special treatment.

FWIW: we arranged to renew our wedding vows, with a minister that Disney found for us, at the Yacht Club garden gazebo. It was just me, my wife, the minister and our wedding planner (along with a cake and a bottle of champagne) but it was sweet and memorable. (And pricey ... you should check with the Disney Wedding Planners for a quote, if you're interested.)
