Hello! My husband and I are taking a trip to Disneyland in the beginning of September for our 25th wedding anniversary. We will be there on that day and had originally planned to celebrate by having dinner at the Napa Rose. We have never gone before as we always had our kids with us on previous trips and we were so excited about trying it. Sadly, I don’t think it will be open in time now. I was wondering if anyone could recommend another restaurant that would be nice to celebrate in the area? I know Steakhouse 55 is now closed too which is too bad as that was my second idea! We will not have a car but we could always uber. Or is there a place in dtd that is nice? We will be staying at the Grand. Thank you.

How about Flemings in the Westin (Katella & Disneyland Dr.)? That would be walking distance from the GCH. Or there is The Ranch (Ball Rd. & East, I think). That would be a short Uber ride. There is The Saloon next door with live music and dancing.

ETA: There is a new steakhouse opening in DTD (Arthur & Sons), but it is still under construction. Not sure they'll be open by September, but you might want to keep checking.

In a similar boat with an anniversary trip is September at the Grand and looks like it's going to be Carthay Circle again for us. It's the only other "fine dining" option there.

Is Roy's still at the Gardenwalk? I ate there a few years ago and enjoyed that.

Thanks for the suggestions. We have been to Blue Bayou before and while I like it, I was hoping for something a little fancier. I didn't know a steakhouse was opening in DTD. I'll keep an eye on that! And I will look into the other suggestions, thank you. Carthay Circle might work well too. That is close and I just looked at the menu and it looks good. Thank you again.

I second the vote for the Anaheim White House. The Hobbit is also a short Uber ride away and probably my top recommendation for a milestone celebration like a 25th anniversary.

I would second the recommendation for Flemings.
Excellent food and service and maybe a ten minute walk from your hotel. A perfect spot to celebrate an anniverary.

The Hobbit does look amazing. I am going to show that to my husband tonight after work. Thank you
