This is one of the quiet pool & hot tubs but of course we called it our "private" pool. We would have been able to see more of the water around the Boardwalk if we were on the 3rd or 4th floor but we were excited. And we did get our balcony also:

Just saw the plug from Englishrose on the coupon train!! We were there the same time as you were!! Wasn't it hot though!!??. I have been in May many times and I thought that was the hottest trip that I have ever been on! I love Beach Club and your view was awesome!! Cannot wait to hear more of your trip!

We were there the SAME TIME as you- we were just in the villas. And we left on Tuesday. Isn't the BC wonderful?? This was my 5th stay, but my first DVC stay. Looking forward to hearing about your trip- we really lucked out on the weather, didn't we?

Welcome!! A few days seemed really hot like Saturday at AK but AK always seems warmer but the last 2 trips prior we went the end of May & I had a hard time with the humidity. This year the humidity was not bad so I was ok with it. I also spent almost every afternoon at SAB for a couple hours
We loved the Beach Club also!!

Welcome podsnel!! I have read a few of your TR's I believe. Yes we love BC!! I have wanted to stay there for so long. We probably got spoiled by staying there. We usually stay at POFQ which we love also but that SAB pool & being able to just walk in & out of Epcot & HS is great. I would love to stay there for next years trip but we will have to see if they have discounts. We will have the boys with us this time.

The weather was great I kept saying no rain. Not one drop of rain & then on our last night we were on the bus & on our way to our dining reservation when the skies opened but then it cleared up again & that was the only rain we had the whole week. I really love going the first week in May. I did not think the crowds were that bad either as we usually go during April vacation week or the last week in May (Memorial Day Weekend) & much for crowded then.

Hi. It is 5:00 am & I cannot sleep. Woke up at 2:00 am & I guess I am up for the day. Lots on my mind. I have to be at work tonight to present my budget to city council but hope to have another update done later in the week. I hope you are all having a good week. If I could sleep mine would be better!! New refrigerator being delivered todayl THAT is a good thing!! I have hated my fridge for years. Maybe I will post a pic later.

And new carpet.
And a new tub.

But all my dryer/laptop/roof/carpet/tub money keeps running off to Disney World. Eventually, one of those things is going to give it up for good, and I'm going to find myself having to be satisfied with looking at old pictures rather than taking new ones. That's gonna be a sad day.

Good luck on your presentation. Will you be able to get a power nap in this afternoon before you go do that?

I know. I need a new computer also!! This one is at least 3 years old (which is not old by normal standards) but in the computer world it is considered old. And it is sooo slow!!! My son will unhook the printer & carry the printer up to his room to his computer to print something for school. He refuses to use this one We got a new roof a few years ago & now we are in the midst of new siding which of course when they were stripping the old wood off they found more rot than we thought so more money!! Owning a home never ends but I love my home & my neighborhood & plan to be here for a long time so on it goes...

I know what you mean about the $$$ for Disney. If I do not go to Disney once a year I think I would go into deep Disney withdrawal!! Do you call that DDW????? When my youngest graduates college (6 more years) but who's counting I would love to go to Disney twice a year, Spring & Fall. That is my goal but who knows.

MeMom hopefully your laptop, roof, carpet & tub will hang in there for some years yet and you can keep taking those wonderful Disney trips & I can read your great TR's!! I live vicariously through you during my long year between trips.

Nope. No nap for me today. Maybe some coffee though which I do not drink much of but I think today will be different!! There are 2 department heads ahead of me tonight on the schedule & they can be VERY long winded. I may make it up to the podium by 9:00 pm if I am lucky.

OK...I'm tagging along! Cannot wait to hear all about your stay at the BC. We went Summer 08 and were upgraded to CL...you can only imagine how we felt . A whole 10 days!!!! We LOVED it so much that upon our return home we became DVC members and will be staying at our Home Resort this coming Christmas Trip 2010. All the hotels are wonderful, but BC holds a special place in my heart, my kids had the best vacation ever in that Stormalong Bay....we didn't even have to visit the parks . Cannot wait to hear more!

Welcome anbouk!! Glad you are tagging along. The more the merrier!! Congrats on DVC We have been tossing that around for a few years now My DH only wants to do it if we can pay for it all at once but that will not be happening as we are putting lots of $$ into the house right now.

We absolutely LOVED BC. I will be showing more pics as the TR goes along. I spent many afternoons at Stormalong Bay. My tan is just about gone now though

Tonight was "Girls Night Out" with the girls from work. One night a month the girls from all the different departments that work for the city go out. Each department takes turns planning it. Tonight we went to a new pizza place that just opened up here in Rochester and it was so good. They have a garlic white pizza that was sooo good!!! The Sangria was not too bad either. Now I am going to watch American Idol. I hope to have another update done tomorrow night.

I am sure you will get to stay at BC one of these years. With the discount it wasn't as bad as originally planned.

Budget presentation did go well. The presenters before me were much quicker than I thought so I got up around 7:50 & was up there for about 5 minutes. I get so nervous that it feels like it is much longer than that but it isn't. I am always glad when it is over.

I plan to do an update tonight. Busy weekend with a bridal shower brunch tomorrow morning, soccer game (away) in the afternoon & then another game on Sunday & that one is away also.
