Oh thank you so much for the picture of my beloved Mt Shasta. I love that area so much. Scotty and I would love to retire in that area.

I was really hoping the picture would have come out better....it was an awesome site with the clouds surrounding the mtn....but driving down the road & shooting thru windshield glass doesn't tend to give you a very clear pictrure.

I think that Mt Shasta is so majestic. Any view or picture of it is a good one. Have you ever been in the areas surrounding Mt Shasta? There are some great campground on the Mc Cloud river, or even a little firther east there is Macarthur Burney Falls that is so spectacular.

I have been in the areas you are talking about and I agree, they are beautiful! In fact I think my sister was camping at Burney Falls with her then BF when he asked her to marry him, they packed up their stuff and left for reno and got married the next day! Apparently the girl can really fry up a trout or something?!?!?! well at least thats what we joke about....

If you camp there is some wonderful camping there. If you want to camp at Burney though I would make reservations. It is always full.

Love all the pics! I never get tired of looking at DLR pictures. I haven't been to the DLH grounds in a long time. Neat to see the boats. I remember doing the boats when I was little but didn't know they were still there. I don't remember them being Jungle Cruise boats (how cute! ) so maybe they changed that.

I thought when we first glanced...ok...cute I guess.....then I realized they had the Jungle Cruise Building with people & then the boats were themed as well......so had to stop & take some pics. We didn't do them, but did watch for a while.
