My friend and I are taking a quick trip December 28th-Jan1st.

I am a disney addict, and she has never been.

Instead of 25 days of Christmas, we are doing 25 days until Disney.

Each day leading up, I am going to send a fun fact or video, or something until we get there.

I have some ideas... my main goal is to educate her as best as I can about WDW. But in a fun way!

Any ideas?

a link to your favorite attractions on the Disney website

a youtube video (love the Wolf family's first one)

if you really want to get creative, and she would enjoy it, a Disney word game

...all I can think of right now.

if you have a smartphone (or an iphone) there is an app call Walt Disney World Fun Facts and it has facts on all 4 parks and Walt himself....you can get some great trivia from there

If you have netflix - there is a series of WDW Parks videos on there. You'll enjoy watching them (if you haven't) and it's got great little trivia type things you can jot down to share. Like the trees in the AK safari are Florida native plants - with "army crop tops" to make them look like Savannah trees.

Another is find a POV (point of view) video on Youtube of a ride that won't be a spoiler to watch. Maybe even of a DL ride since they are slightly different. If you can play it on your tv put two chairs in front of the screen and pretend you're riding including putting your hands in the air and leaning into the turns. Ok... someone out there is rolling their eyes I know but you have to laugh at the cheesiness. :rotfl: (Fine fine, just watch the video normally, but the pov ones are fun nonetheless.) ;)

I love the idea of virtual pov rides from home. That is an awesome suggestion. :thumbsup2
