Everything looks beautiful so far. The cocktail reception was gorgeous and I'm glad everyone had a great time on the fireworks cruise. I love that you ended up going barefoot for your wedding; what a fun story!

Natalie Wishes is my FAVORITE!! The whole reason we did the GF over the boardwalk was because of Wishes. I read on here that they are changing the show.... just wanted to make sure you knew so you didn't get your heart set on it...

Oh no, they can't change Wishes! It's the best! I swear i cry everytime i hear the music! It's got such sentimental meaning to us now aswell. Oh well, guess i can't do much about it.

WDW is having a summer promo that will bring back an updated ELP and the "Music, Magic, and Mayhem" firework show from the Pirate & Princess Party now renamed, "Summer Nightastic Firework Spectacular". It will only replace Wishes from 6/6-8/14. So don't freak out...Wishes will be back.

The candy table looks amazing. I am having one at my home reception and I loved seeing yours for inspiration. All the pictures are so beautiful so far!! Ooh, thanks for that! Yey, my Wishes Cruise dream isn't over! I've been going back and forth between a Wishes Cruise and an Epcot DP for a while now and I thought it had been decided for me when I heard they were changing Wishes earlier, but no, the Wishes Dream is still alive! YEY ! A Wishes DP would be my ultimate but nevermind.

And Cassie, thanks for the info, I will make sure I get a photographer on the boat. Hopefully my friend will be our photographer (we both worked together as photographers at another company for several years so I know she'll get the style i want ).

YOu can get a Wishes Desert Party. They host them at Sago Cay at the Grand Floridian. They even pump in the music. Wishes is my favorite too!

Sago Cay looks really nice. I just wish that Disney offered Wishes Dessert Parties in the Magic Kingdom, like how they offer them in Epcot and Hollywood Studios.

The first time I ever called DFTW it was because I wanted to do a dessert party at the train station and thats how I got turned over to Bill.

They really should do something.

Apparently the problem is something to do with the fact that the catering department or something like that in the magic kingdom was broken up years ago. Thats Disney's excuse anyway.

I was saying to Phil the other day about the train station being such an ideal spot for a DP. I remember watching Spectromagic and the fireworks from up there when i was about twelve! We were sat right in the middle and it was such a great spot, looking right at the castle. They must be missing out on so much money not offering DPs for weddings in MK. Oh well!

He used Lifehouse - all in for the preview and I think we are going to keep it. He likes it and I feel like I have to trust him. It has grown on me. I keep fearing that changing it might be a mistake.

I don't want to dissuade you from your intuition, but keep in mind his musical tastes might not match yours. I'm pretty certain very few people would have chosen what I did for our video...and I love it. Whereas, I wouldn't have been as happy with contemporary "Top 40" type hits. To each his own...and you're paying

Kristine I totally agree with you. I just wanted Disney to try. If it was an anniversary or something that was date specific so their plans were not flexible - then they weren't flexible. If they were there for a week and it was a random day then I wish we could have paid for them to change it. I wasn't screaming Boo just the rest of our party after they heard the story. It was a big group of people. I think it may have been something corporate.

I understand that, and like I said, I understand your frustration with the booking date changing.

I just find it completely unacceptable that your guests did that. You don't know that it was a corporate event just because there was a big group of people. Maybe it was a small wedding reception. And even if it was a corporate event, that still does not excuse the behavior of your guests. Can you imagine being "Kelly" and hearing a bunch of people screaming your name like that? What would you think? And if it was a special day for her, maybe your guests ruined it for her.

Ya know, I love your pics and I think that they are beautiful. But if it were me and my guests were doing that, I would be horrified and extremely angry at them. Not bragging about it. You seem to think that everything and everyone has a price. Some people cannot be bought, it is a fact of life.

Sorry to be such a ***** about it, I just don't think you understand how your coming across.
