I've done it on my honeymoon and I am prone to seasickness. I didn't get sick and it was a lot of fun. You do get cold and wet - don't turn down the rain gear or wetsuits. Also do the spanish gondola - that's really neat too. I did get a sick feeling on this though - but I am afraid of heights. That area of Canada is just gorgeous. You will have fun!

SPOILER AHEAD!!

However, on the jet boat they do joke as you get very close to the whirlpool that the boat is malfunctioning and you might go into the whirlpool. My ex-husband didn't think it was very funny and that resulted in the first fight of our marriage. I knew that they operators of the boat were joking - but apparently he didn't and he didn't like the fact that they would joke about something that could be potentially dangerous. :confused3

We did this last summer and loved it! My mom tends to get motion sickness but I don't think she took Dramamine before going. She was fine. I tend to get a little queasy but was also fine.

Definitely do the open boat. Even my hard to please teen boys loved it. The little kid behind me was very scared though. I recommend that you prepare your son for the HUGE waves of water that will crash over him.

Have a great time.
