Hi from another CT bride... who is also having a reception at Ariel's... and blue and yellow colors... using hydrangeas as part of the floral! Oh my god we're twins!
There is actually a long and boring story behind my colors that involved a complete color change but ultimated culminated in a dress shop meltdown which led me back to my oiginal choice... but it's all for the best because I think blue and yellow are a great match for Ariel's.
Your dress is beautiful! It definitely screams Disney fairy tale.
Your MOH sounds like a royal PITA... I'm sure some of it is stemming from her own insecurities over her wedding and her weight, but I bet at least some of it comes from not hearing the word "no" enough. I foresaw some of the same issues with one of the girls who would have been a BM for me, and honestly it is one of the reasons my DF and I decided to have only one attendent each. Planning a wedding is stressful enough without bridal party drama! I think you have a great plan in place with regards to her - good luck and I can't wait to see more updates!
