Well we are back from DW and I am still not smoking. Had some problems with people smoking in unauthorized areas [mostly at USF and Seaworld but once or twice in the MK]
The worst was USF. I saw 4 people walking in a group all smoking. At least 6 differant USF staffers saw them and did not say a word to them. For a few seconds I thought one was going to do something. When the group passed him he turned in thier direction and took a step toward them but then turned and walked off in the opposite direction.
I quess they just don't want to confront these people.
I just can't understand why people do this. I have only been a non smoker for a little over three weeks but I know that I would never smoke anywhere that was posted non smoking and if there was no sign specifying one way or the other I would always ask before lighting up.
Now I know why all smokers are given dirty looks by non smokers. Most non smokers just automatically assume you are in a non smoking area because you will always find some smokers lighting up in the wrong place.
I did wander into some authorized smoking areas in error [Disney's signs are very small and hard to see], but everytime I smelled smoke I first looked for a sign and if I saw one I just moved out of the area. No problem, after all I was in thier territory. But I was getting very upset about having to change my direction of travel because some were smoking in smoke free areas.
Oh well, end of sermon.
I hope to be posting my trip report this coming weekend
