24 Hour Event

We're planning on a trip May 17-28, 2017. I'm hoping they will be having their 24 Hour Event at MK as they did in 2015. I know last year they didn't have this. Any word on word on whether or not they will have it in 2017?

I'd say don't get your hopes up though if they have one I'll probs be there for the back 12-13 hours like I was in 12, 14, & 15

I was disappointed they didn't have one this year. I did it back in 2015 (all 24 hours by the way...yep I am nuts) and it was fantastic. I agree with PP though don't get your hopes up and I certainly wouldn't plan a trip around it. If those dates work for you then fantastic. If it happens then it is a bonus.

I was also there in 2015 and LOVED it. We went in the morning and stayed until around 3pm, when back to POR for a couple hour nap, then was back in the park around 7pm and stayed until 7am. Fingers crossed that they will have it this year!

If I remember correctly, someone reported, last spring, that Disney isn't doing 24hr events anymore. Seems that the event at DLR was hugely overcrowded, and at WDW it was under attended! My dd and I were at WDW for it...not nearly as crowded as I thought it would be.

The last 24 hour event was highly disappointing compared to the others. It was as if they worked on DL and forgot about WDW, tossing us the Frozen theme ......... again ........... with cupcakes etc that we could already get at DHS. Characters, music etc way lacking from previous years. It costs a lot of money to keep the park open 24 hours and I will assume they took a loss. I think they are done for awhile.
