24 Hour Event Advice

Moderators, please combine this with an existing thread if necessary! I won't be sad!!

I'm going to visit my sister in Orlando on the day of the 24 hour event and so I thought I would spring for a ticket and we could get some Disney in!

We're not going to be able to get there until around midnight or 1am on Saturday!

Does anyone have any tips for navigating these 24 hour events? What are the crowds like at this time? Will characters be out? Rides aren't super important to us!

We attended the 24 hour event last year. It was very crowded around 9pm till 3am. I think as the other parks closed people hopped over to MK.

I did not see any characters during the night hours.

There were ride opening and closings on the map. Not all rides were open the entire 24 hours.
