............

I had my gall bladder removed when my son was 2 months old. The attacks I got caused pain in my back and right below my rib cage in the middle, like a heart attack is how my grandma explained it. I was nauseous but only because of the pain. Once an attack started, it was usually over within an hour if that. I didn't have any symptoms unless I was having an attack. I also didn't have any fever. I know everyone is different, so it could be. Just throwing this out there.

So glad you are feeling better and have a nice dr. that faxed orders for sono and bld work w/o going in. How's your fever now? I had my gall bladder out 2yrs ago. Unfortunately my sono never showed my gall bladder problems and it wasn't discovered until I had a Hida scan which discovered it wasn't working at all! At any rate,
eat lightly, on second thought you probably don't want food with that fever anyway. Try to keep yourself well hydrated and keep us updated. Best wishes!

Glad you got the tests done....hope for some info that helps you, and fairly quickly.

I think it was that Hida scan that was the final determination for my DD to have her GB taken out.. Is that the one that shows functioning capacity? Hers was 19%..

I'm drinking lots and lots of water.. Not sure what to eat though - probably need "something".. Wondering if tomato soup (made with water) and some saltine crackers would be okay? With my low weight issues I don't want to go days without eating - KWIM?

Fever is 100 now (normal for me is 97).. Don't know if that's due to the pain medication (that has tylenol in it) or if it's just beginning to drop now..

All in all I don't feel that bad today - tired - so I may go to bed early again.. Hope the tests show something - or whatever this is it just goes away by itself..

Weren't you the one telling me how "great" the "Golden Years" are?? :rotfl:

Glad your temp is down and you're staying hydrated. Do you have any apple sauce, jello, toast, or chicken noodle? I worry about tomato soup being too acidy.
Yes, Hida scan shows functioning, mine was 0%.

Yea, we can't complain about the 'Golden Years' thus far :thumbsup2. Just some stepping stones testing our faith and patience right now. :goodvibes
