Carrie had a nice bolero jacket for the cold. We do have crazy weather..you can be wearing shorts at 11am and then need jacket and gloves by 7pm!
(then again, I am a native...so I turn on my heat when it is 65 outside!)

Yes, though it may be chilly at night I am thinking those of use who will be coming from a NY winter will not be needing the gloves I am from San Francisco and we have similar weather in the summer actually. It can be 80 degrees during the day and then 50 at night out there. Layers are very much needed! I never knew what a warm summer night was like until I moved out east.

Those are cute toppers but I was wondering if the patterns on the cake would make the toppers seem kind of lost. Since the cake has animal print patterns and the toppers have animal print, wouldn't they blend in with each other? I think they both may be really busy. Maybe if they were on the table next to the cake?

That's a good point! Maybe if you could find a solid colour (white might look good) it would make the topper stick out more, and have a more elegant look (although I love animal print everywhere!)

Dude, our cakes are even on the same cake stand!

I think the pink ribbon would be a nice pop of color, considering your reception will be mostly green and blue... if I remember correctly! I can go either way on flower colors... both look awesome! I just like this style because it is still funky, but yet in a classy way.

Lol I didn't notice the cake stand!! I really could care less about colors at this point We are hoping to keep it minimal at the reception...just linens and lanterns. I like that the cake matches my flowers and his tie though. I told him we have to sit down this week and decide 100%!!!

I have a random question, which you may not know the answer to. If you have a wedding in Animal Kingdom, can you have Mickey come in Safari attire? Those would be awesome pictures, pretending to look/hike through the brush and trees with a Safari Mickey as your guide!
