IT's really cute isn't it!!


It went well...after a bit of drama. At the last minute I found out one of the executives thought he was going to use the office for his new manager. Ultimately my boss fought for me and I still go the office. It turns out there is still room elsewhere for his employee (that actually makes more sense!!) Oh office politics!!



Oh that is a cute dress. The shoes were dyed to match the invitations and that color is cornflower.

Oh and I love Say Yes to The Dress and am bummed that I missed the marathon last night. I am lucky that I got to see Jeter hit #2722!!!

I wore that dress to a wedding I was the MOH in and I hated it. It was unflattering and the slip underneath fitted weird and did not flow nicely when you walked.

I watched a few of the episodes last night and then I DVRed a bunch so I'm going to watch them later. It's very entertaining!

I mostly moved in Friday. I still have some organization to do plus one piece of my desk is still missing since it had to be ordered.

I like Lauren's too. But all of the sudden I'm just loving that bright blue (the one like your shoes.) I wish I could just re-marry my husband again. LOL!

Haha that's what Eric wants!!! I actually voted for a giraffe couple...you know the kind that have their necks entwined?? Or elephants since I am a big collector of elephants...trunks up are lucky!!

I've never seen toppers like those. Do you have any photos?

I LOVE IT!!! OMG, I am definitly saving all your ideas, and am doing a vow renewal in Animal Kingdom! I think something like either of those figurines would look so great, and they are so creative compared to the "normal" topper!

Don't you get the Mickey Bride and Groom topper? I thought that came with all DFTW cakes. The animals are cute, but think in 20 years, you might want the bride & groom topper in your curio cabinet.

I don't think it will really matter that much in 20 years. We didn't even have a cake topper.

However, I will say that I just googled "giraffe cake topper" and I got a lot of kids birthday kind of things. So obviously you wouldn't want anything like that.

Same thing happened when I googled "elephant wedding cake topper." Look at this crazy cake. It doesn't even look like a wedding cake to me.

Maybe I am just sentimental. For my parents 40th anniversary, I snuck their cake topper out of the china cabinet and had a cake made and put the topper on.

I like the figurines and using them for a cake topper. I think the idea of either animal is cute and fit the theme.

And Mandy will be able to do that with a giraffe topper, a mickey/minnie topper, or a traditional topper. No matter what it is, it will have sentimental value.
