Honestly I like both the pink and gold...but there is just something about the gold that works better. I think it was when I saw it all together...the gold shoes with the green dress and ivory bouquet with the Best Man's suit. I just love it!!!
Lol I don't know if I'll post pics of that one. We'll just have to count on Lauren to take a couple of good pics at the rehearsal dinner/welcome party!
Lol I love how everyone is excited about the gold shoes...now she just has to find a pair she loves (if not the ones she posted!)
I would love to stay at the Poly the night before. I don't mind switching but it would be nice. I think maybe we'll hold off booking until the AP rates come out.
So here's a little update:
We went to Eric's parents house last night as they wanted to talk about where to stay for the wedding. After much persuausion we lost and they have decided to stay at a nearby Hampton Inn...and are trying to convince the rest of his family to do the same. It's not a huge deal I was just kind of hoping they would stay with us.
We also showed them some of our inspiration pics (bouquet, suit, etc.). They really had nothing to say until we showed them the cake...his mom laughed and asked if we were serious

I don't think she really liked it. I also showed her pictures of my dress to which she said, It's nice. I know she doesn't have daughters but I guess I was hoping she'd say more than, it's nice. Eric says that's just how they are and not to take it personal. Oh well.
Eric is also debating whether he should ask his brother to be in the wedding. I think he really wants to do it but isn't sure how his brother will react. They aren't super close. Also, Eric (and his parents) dont' like that the bridal party would be uneven if he invites his brother...I don't care really but it was kind of a big deal to them. So I guess we'll wait and see what he decides to do. I love wedding planning!
