Just leaving a comment so I know where I was up to, when I check back tomorrow and see that there's another 10 pages past here

OK I'm a few days behind...working seems to get in the way
Dress envy-Yup. I get it all the time...but my mom had tears in her eyes when I tried my gown on-just like her mom did. So, that dress is mine..Now tiara or no tiara...that's another story
I love the hanger...just one suggestion...I wouldn't take it on the plane with you...it's wire...it's twisted...it would probably throw up a red flag and require a search...just a thought.
What does the carpet look like at the WP? Photo please?

Oh I don't if they are changing the carpet! I wonder what they would change it too.
I have tried on several veils and while I liked the cathedral length, once I put it together it just wasn't me. I definitely liked the birdcage the best and I am sure Eric will be fine with it.
There have been several comments about how I am going to dissapoint Eric...I guess I don't get it. While I don't think my dress is what he imagined, I don't think he will be dissapointed...by that or my choice of accessories. Did other people have grooms that were dissapointed in their choices?![]()
Honestly, the way I see it, it is your day (as much as it is his). Show who you are, and wear what you want. I don't even care what DF thinks about what I am wearing...because I know he won't even think about judging what I am wearing....he will just be happy we are in disney getting married. I am sure your DF will be the same as well!
Sorry, a bit of a rampage....but I just think in general, you should always dress for yourself, not other people (especially on your wedding day). Some brides may feel differently, and that is fine, it is their choice....but don't let it influence yoursI think a big thing I have learned over the past couple years is that I can listen to other peoples opinions, but I can't let them run my life!
I think you will look beautiful, no matter what you choose!

Really, I don't think grooms notice the little things we sweat over..DH said he thought I looked amazing walking down the aisle, but it was the overall thing..not that I was wearing my grandmothers crystals, or my veil piece had the same pearl design as my dress..know what I mean? Just the whole package..so I don't think he would be disappointed unless you walked down the aisle in street clothes or some weird, Fredrick's of Hollywood corset thing.
Thank you!I feel the same way. Do I want Df to like what I wear...have I mentioned before that I'm not sure how he'll feel about my dress...SURE!! BUT, I love my dress. Everytime I try it on I receive compliments. My grandma actually gasped when she saw it. So in the end I know he will love it (and whatever else I pick out too). One of the main reasons I haven't switched my dress is because it's sooo me! I do love all the other dress I see, but in the end when I try them on I'm not as happy as I am with my dress!
Thank you again!!!!
Before our wedding, I'm sure my husband would have imagined me in a strapless dress. But I tried on strapless and they just didn't look right on me. I ended up going with halter. I found it was most flattering. So while I did keep my husband in mind while picking out dresses, I definitely went with what I thought looked best (and what I was comfortable in.)
Do you have pictures of your veil? I'm sorry but I have the worst memory.
You said your Grandma gasped at your dress. I thought you weren't on speaking terms with your grandmas? Are things better now? I hope so.
If you think he would enjoy the blusher type veil, incorporate in a different part of the day. For example, considering all of the lingerie talk we have been having latelyrotfl
, find a cute/sexy/whatever your style little negligee for yourself (and for pictures with that hanger, of course!) and buy a cheap little blusher veil to wear with it on your wedding night.
I see this a lot in boudoir pictures that women often make for their husbands as their wedding gifts, and they always turn out fabulous! This way, your wedding night will be just as memorable as the wedding day for him!
As long as your are happy and glowing on your wedding day, your husband-to-be will certainly reciprocate those same feelings. YOU have to feel confident about yourself on what will probably be one of the most nerve wracking days of your life. So if you love how you look, I am sure he will too!![]()
Ok so I know I posted earrings a bit ago that my mom bought me, but I'm not sold on them yet. I found these on Etsy and can't get them out of my head. What do you think??
![]()
Those earrings are really pretty! My only concern is the clip on part. I know for me, after awhile, clip on earrings tend to hurt after awhile.
I didn't think they were clip on...Looks to me like the thing on the left flicks open, you put it through your ear and then flick it shut again.
By the way, going back a page. I actually like the WP carpet![]()
Oh thank you!!!LOVE those earrings... they're very glam and I think they'll go really well with your dress.
I just read your whole (new) PJ... I AM SO FREAKING JEALOUS OF YOUR AK RECEPTION!!! Omg. It's going to be so beautiful and dramatic and very you... it's perfect. And your dress is the perfect dramatic contrast to the space. I can't wait to see the pictures! You can tell you finally have the perfect wedding plan because you're so excited and have so many great ideas for it. Love the animal cake as well. I can't wait to see the rest of your plans... you have some great ideas and it seems like you've found lots of ways to put a really personal spin on your Disney wedding.![]()
I can't decide...there is just something about this pair!wow i really like those earrings from etsy!.... hmmm idk which i like better though, the ones mom got you or those... either one would be beautiful
It's been so hard to find earrings...the dress itself has no rhinestones or pearls!! I liked this pair because it coordinates a bit with the hair piece and they are a bit vintagey looking. The pearl seems to tie in the ivory color even though there are no pearls, lol.I think the cage veil will look awesome with your dress. It's beautiful. The earrings look pretty, I'm not sure about the pearl on it though, maybe if the pearl was a bit smaller![]()
Me too!! They are only $15...I think I need to get them and decide.Oh I like those earrings. I don't really know how/why, but they seem to really fit the feel of your dress. I like the ones your mom got too, but there's something totally striking about those.
The carpet is way better than it used to be. I don't mind it too much.I didn't think they were clip on...Looks to me like the thing on the left flicks open, you put it through your ear and then flick it shut again.

Ohhh, yeah! I see it now!The little knobby things that they are hanging off of were throwing me off.
