What's the dose on that? I was given it during my pneumonia and Advair made me totally wired so he dropped the dose and that helped a lot. I did have to take about .25mg of xanax a few times while on it and it didn't bother me.

Is Advair a steroid? I took steriods for a sinus infection a little while back, and I felt really jittery.

C.Ann--I think it is a steriod. I believe that is what my doc told me.

Mine was 250/50 and he switched me to 100/50 and I did a lot better. I couldn't even sleep! I took mine every 12 hours also.

It really made all the difference for me. The first 2 nights I took it I was wide awake at 3:00am!! Oh and had pneumonia so I needed rest. It was pretty terrible!

is a combination of fluticasone (the steroid)/ and salmeterol (a beta-agonist). I'm a pharmacist in a psych hospital and I think what you're experiencing is from the extra Advair dose and not any interaction with the anti-depressant. I just double-checked with Micromedex and there are no listed drug-drug interactions between the two medications.

I'll read that in Men's Health but I haven't read it yet.

I had to take Leviquan as my antibiotic for the pneumonia. Talk about scary stuff! My BIL had tendon problems with it so I was well aware of those.
I had 2 doses left and I flip the TV on and see this ad: "Have you or a loved one taken Leviquan? Blah blah blah...call 1-800-badmeds." Just what I needed to see--a class action lawsuit against this drug! But I had pneumonia and had run a fever for 7 days straight and there's the swine flu on the loose! Sometimes you just have to take the risk.
