21st Birthday at Disney

We will be celebrating my daughter's 21st birthday at Disney this July, can anyone recommend a restaurant to celebrate the occasion - maybe with characters, although we have a character breakfast already booked so this isn't absolutely necessary. Naturally I'll be ordering a cake too

I'd recommend either Walts or the California Grill in the DLH. I've never been to either but am planning an adult visit to one or other on our next visit and have only heard good things on here about both.

Blue Lagoon - I had my 40th there with a mixture of adults and kids in the party - we all thoroughly enjoyed it, no characters present but you do get to wave to the riders on POTC, if you reserve a table request one on the beach, I'd forgotten but we were lucky enough to get one anyway, it's the best place in the restaurant.

I'd love to try Inventions at the DLH and you'll get the characters as well there, the buffet always gets great reviews.

I would say Inventions, I have never been however it seems like a more special character meal for a special occasion.

I would go for either Inventions with characters or Blue Lagoon.

That's cool! My boyfriend had a trip to Disney as his 21st birthday present and he took me with him

Many thanks for all the suggestions, not sure how I'm going to do this and keep it as a surprise! I'm leaning towards Inventions at the moment.
