Add me to the FE's for this leg of the cruise. I have decided to do the FE's on the first leg instead of the second. (not both). I enjoyed the last FE we did but it was HUGE (over 100 people involved ) so I decided to do only ONE FE for this cruise. and to take it easy on the second leg of the B2B.

Just booked Pop Century for pre cruise. Just for a few days. I am already living in cruise land in my head. I think its the snow....makes me want to cruise away from it all!
Trying to sneak a disneyland trip into the middle of summer but not likely...too many scout activities and I'd rather save the $$ for a cabana massage!

We are also going to the park pre cruise. We are staying at the All Star Movies. We have only done Magic Kingdom before, so we are going to explore Epcot this time for at least a day. So looking forward to this trip!

I like to go to the park pre cruise vs. post cruise... I am in a wayyyyy lower gear (completely relaxed) post cruise...

I think we stayed at AS Movies last time we were at the park. Pop was the same price this time so we went for it. I am ready to go now!

Yep, as you can see by my thingy below, we will be at BLT checking in on August 16..can't wait...2 br, MK view!

dizneeat, yes, there is only 1 stateroom between us I believe.

I can't wait...2 weeks from Sunday I will be at the Sail-away party. They are boarding us at 10:30 am to bring us on a tour of the ship...CAN'T WAIT..I am buying a new 8 gig memory card just for this trip!

Sorry it took so long, work getting in the the way of DIS.
Also took a while last night to book Car rental for Feb trip, Got a great deal on a Full size SUV(Dodge Durango/GMC Envoy) with Alamo fully inclusive of all insurances $195 for the week, this is about half what we would usually pay.

Will 8gb be enough Rick?
Could I also ask a favor of you? when you go on the ship have a look for somewhere suitable for us all to get together. Last cruise we all met in the Promanade Lounge at 2:30pm on boarding day which was perfect. I guess there could be around 50 of us turn up, maybe a few more, a bit of space for the kids and a bar for us to get a drink.
Hope you can help.

Oh yes you must make sure the drinks are up to standard.

I hope there is somewhere like the Promanade lounge, we spent most evenings after the shows in there the last cruise.

We have stayed in POP twice and I loved it. I thought we should try something else this time just for variety. Try the Lo Mein in the food court. Love it! Tie Dye Cheese cake is also a blast!

I told J that our next door neighbors will be a 6 yr old and she was sooooooooooooooo excited She was hoping we were table mates, wouldnt that be really neat!!! We have late dinner seating i know, but hopefully the kids can have someplay time together and if time permits maybe a breakfast together...cant wait!!

Casey will be so excited when I tell her as well! We are traveling with friends in the adjoining cabin 7080 who have boys 5 (actually a month away from 6) and 8 1/2. We also have late seating so who knows, maybe they can all go down the the oceaneer club and let us eat in peace. That is my ultimate Dream for the Dream - a vacation for us!

We just finalized our pre-cruise accommodations. We'll be staying at the Beach Club Villas for a few nights before the cruise.

We'll be staying for a few nights at the Wilderness Lodge Villas after the cruise.

We did a similar itinerary for our previous cruise in February 2010 (our first cruise ever), and it worked out great!

Totally! Pop rocks I like it the best out of the value resorts, but hate paying more for it than the others...so I only go there when it is the same or less than the others. Picky aren't I? ( a dollar saved is a dollar saved ...for another cruise!)

I will have to check out the cheesecake this time ...hmm maybe... I may need to save the big calories for the cruise.

Saw some new Dream trip reports from a pre-cruise cruiser...I can't stand it anymore. I wanna go now! (But I will be looking forward to your report Coach Rick)

We didn't know of Jennifer Hudson here but I guess shes popular over there.

Jennifer Hudson may be best know outside of the US for her role in Dreamgirls. She won the best supporting Oscar for that role. Before that, she was on American Idol. One of her first singing jobs was with DCL.

Please count my room in with the FE also. I will PM you the additional information. This will be our first Disney cruise and FE experience and we figured we would go all out. Pre-cruise, we'll be at Bay Lake Towers. Is it August yet?
