For the rest of you, my family and I were supposed to be on the double dip in 08 with Lynda, unfortunately my dad was very sick and in the hospital, and had gone into a coma. I had gotten a call when I was at the airport checking in. I sent the rest of my family down to stay at WDW, while I headed back to the hospital. I had made tshirts for that cruise and had Lynda's since it was very expensive to ship them to Ontario, so my DW met her at EPCOT to deliver them. Anyhow, here we are going on the same cruise again...

I do run a custom apparel company, so if you all would like tshirts based on that nice logo on, I can certainly do that.

Hi Joi, have you been on a RCL obviously not as good as Disney but still very enjoyable, we have done 2 both aboard the older ship Sovereign of the Seas both times less than half the cost of Disney, sometimes the price difference is too great for me.

I heard the exact some thing from another disney person (actually the guy who got me hooked on Disney Cruises)....RCL is ok but not disney
not too suprising. I am sure I will have fun....but not as much

My brother Tom and I decided to do a back to back to back cruise next summer, so we start our "Dream" cruise on the 21st of Aug

Hey Karen and Tom...just noticed we are doing the same B2B ...starting on the 21st ...(saw your name on the other thread LOL). Fun! After doing the transatlantic ...there was no way we were doing a 3 or 4 day by itself... not nearly enough!

Re RCL, we enjoyed the two cruises we did with them. But Disney always wins out with us too. My ds18 ans dd16 agree with me too. DCL just has a unique magic of it's own.

Ok, so now DM is all set and booked in a cat 6 guarantee (no rooms showing). I just gotta add the kids to our ressie and we are set.

Won't quite be the same as our last cruise when we were in a Cat 3 1 br. That was soooo awesome, but I can't afford doing that again right now. So the 5 of us will be crammed into a cat 4 family room. Oh well...

I got a 2 br BLT MK view booked from the Tuesday before...Yahoo..can't wait!!! Time to find an appropriate countdown clock..

I have officially rented enough DVC points to pay for this extravaganza

The cost difference for us in UK between value and OKW is very small plus in a value there is no free dining, at OKW we get the full dining plan.
All stars £77($118)/night no dining
Pop Century £92($141)/night no dining
OKW or SSR £117($180)/night includes free dining(this year we avaraged $170/night of free food)
Well worth the $62/night difference between value and OKW, far better room and all that free food.

no crazier than Myself ....this morning I booked the Disney Fantasy for June 2012 already... I wanted to make sure a Cat. 11 sideways was available and that I got one

I usually book onboard another cruise for the OBC but I have a feeling there would not be cat 11 left to book by next August for the date that I wanted....so I went for it. In April I waited to book our Dream cruise on our transatlantic ....but the price rose $200 by then ... so I essentially didn't make out any better waiting.

I am going to spontaneously combust by August

We have been talking ourselves this afternoon. Considered August 25th 2012 Eastern sailing but prices were a little high, decided to wait for Sept prices to be released.

You can still get the re-booking OBC can't you? when you are onboard next August go see the CM. Thats what we did, booked in advance as we wanted to secure Secret porthole room but when onboard we got the re-booking OBC added. Unless their policy has changed you should still be able to do it.

We had letters from DCL yesterday advising us that we will be on early dining at 6:00pm and last show time at 9:00pm - nothing like planning in advance!!
