So in a few weekends is my 20th HS reunion :) The activities planned are a Friday night "pub crawl", Saturday afternoon High School Homecoming football game, and Saturday night dinner/DJ at a restaurant.

I don't want to look like a soccer mom for any of the events but don't want to be overdressed either. The Friday night and Saturday football game would be perfect just with jeans, boots, sweater/jacket? (October in NJ so the weather will be cool).

I am really stuck though what to wear at night - don't want to wear a cocktail dress but don't want to be frumpy or too casual. Any thoughts or ideas?

Maybe check and see what some of your friends plan to wear for the dinner?
How fancy of a restaurant is it?

For Fri night I would wear dressy jeans and a wedge heel with a cute top and an up to date blazer.

For Sat night, it depends on how dressy the restaurant is. I would either wear a wide leg pants and heels or a flattering dress.

I just had mine but only went to the Friday night pub night...

I wore nice jeans, cute sandals, a dressy shirt, did my hair nice, remembered makeup - jewelry - perfume. I would say 80% of the woman dressed like me, 10% were way dressed up (maybe from work?) and 10% looked frumpy.

Have Fun!!

How dressy is the restaurant for Saturday night? Is it a Chili's type place or fancier?

I'd probably do black pants and a top...the dressiness of the top would depend on the type ofplace it is.

We just had our 20th reunion at a Yacht Club in Point Pleasant, so obviously it was a little bit dressy, but nothing major. I agree that is depends on where you will be having dinner, but from what it sounds like, I would wear nice pants and a nice shirt, or a dress. I wore a dress, but it was a no-big-deal dress, meaning not cocktail or anything like that. We mostly had dresses for the girls, but there were some pants outfits as well. Hope you have a great time! :)
