Like others have said, how many times did Gretchen have to say no to Ryan before he would stop? She must have said it 10 times! That is just wrong. He was acting like a 15 year old in heat.

At their dinner, I agreed with Jeanna and Vicki. Gretchen does need to talk to Jeff and find out what's going on. Lynne is a bubble head to tell them they were wrong. She probably don't know anything about her finances.

Did you guys notice in Jeanna's bathroom( in the first 10 minutes of the show) that she has a urinal in her bathroom?

I agree with the PP's. I think Jeana is the only one with any sense and soul. I sure hope she can find some happiness.

Regarding the discussion at lunch about Jeff's insurance. Yes, Gretchen needs to find out if she will be taken care of in any way. It's a tough topic to discuss at any time, but it needs to be discussed. Lynn's thinking that it didn't need to be discussed, just goes back to her putting her head in the sand and not facing hard facts. (Like her DD drinking!)

Am I the only one who has noticed Vicki's eyes being "watery" when she does her narration? It looks like she's either been drinking, or crying. Trying to figure it out.

Gretchen does need to find out what the financials are but I think Lynne was trying to get Vicki to back off by saying money is not the biggest issue. I am sure she too would tell Gretchen that she needs to get her ducks in a row but Vicki was frothing at the mouth over it. She is all about money. It doesn't matter though because no matter how much money she has it will not buy her a likeable personality or some self esteem. I find her to be so annoying.

Awwwwwwwww, poooooooooooor widdle Vicky, has a good-looking man who treats her nice and says garbage like that about him on-air? (And let's not forget the Donn-less vacation...) She really must want a divorce, she treats that man like an emotionless accessory and acts like she is married to her kids. The only time this season that she gave him any decent attention is when she wanted to somehow make him sell the Havasu house and buy that stupid yacht for her.

Has anyone noticed how awful Jeana looks lately? I'm not referring to the fact that she has gained some weight, I'm talking about her face. She doesn't look good at all. She's one of my favorites, I hope things start to turn around for her. You can definitely tell that she's depressed, she's not the same person that she was at the beginning of the series.

I was shocked by the preview next week when Shane says something like "I wanted to throw a bat at you when you came on the field". How hurtful, I would be very upset if one of my grown children said that to me. I hope he doesn't turn out to be as much of a jerk as his father.

Huh??? I don't get the connection Ruthy, but it IS amusing that you're trying to make one, as usual. You're such a hard little worker at that!

I'm really not sure what you don't get about companies doing business from one coast to another. It's the 21st century. Phones and faxes make easy communication daily, meeting in person...that's where the big airplanes come in ...and money is the mutual goal that makes it worth going further than the local neighborhood. You know...business. DH deals with people in China almost daily, but we still live on the east coast of the USA.

Yeah, huh? Old...VERY OLD...story (altho I'm not sure where the driving to WDW comes from or why she has an issue with it...does she have an issue with people who drive to WDW? Don't a lot of people on the DIS drive to WDW? ), but Ruth likes to bring it up every so often.

Lots of the kids on this show are little snots, except Vicki's DD who wants to be a nurse...she seems very down to earth and really nice. Don't know who Shane wants to throw the bat at, but these parents are so into their kids' lives where they don't belong, and not where they do.

I agree - Tamra's son Ryan is HORRIBLE and creepy, Vicki's Michael is a little jerk, and Lynn's daughters are the worst. I do kind of like Jeana's daugther Kara, though. She does like to work, it seems!

I feel the same way. Vicki just needs to know that a girls day out luncheon is not the appropriate time to have that discussion. Since "that is what she does for a living" she should know it might be more appropriate to call Gretchen at a later time to discuss it.

The way he treats Jeana seems pretty common for Shane. He is always insulting to his Mom, his sister, his brother, his Mom's friends. In this case, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. He's taking right after his father. Jeana always blamed Matt's accident on the way Matt treats her. I am beginning to wonder if he was always like that towards her.

Dh once met up with Britney Spears father's partner and was going to do a few construction projects with them. (This was years ago when she was younger and "normal")-so I know that feeling of connection with a Famous person.

Personally, I don't think the men(or boys) in Jeana's life like being on the show. And they kinda act out towards Jeana when the cameras are around. And also, have you noticed Colton hasn't been around at all this season. And when Jeana mentions her kids, it's always about Kara and Shane and what they are up to. The way she talks sometimes, it seems like she only has two kids.
