.................................................

Ya know what? Tamra and Vicki are both a pain in the ***. I mean, at the Kentucky Derby (that's what it was right?) they were so concerned about not including anyone in their "little" clique that they ended up looking like lame ducks and lost out on a lot of fun. And then because Gretchen went to join the fun on the next balcony Tamra calls them "low class"? How tacky and ignorant. If anyone was being low class, it was definitely her and Vicki.

I feel so bad for Donn sometimes. Vicki was wrong for what she said and she needs to quit before she loses a good guy...but for some reason, I don't think she would care. Tamra is so jealous of Gretchen, it's not even funny. She is such a knit-picker. she has something to say about Gretchen going on vacation, having fun with other people, and even a silly pink hat! She needs to get over herself.

Ugh...this last episode just has me so tired of them both. I can't stand 'em!

Oh...and as far as the next episode, I really hope Gretchen didn't do what the scenes are making it look like. That would NOT be good.

I can not stand Tamra anymore. She is so petty and a back stabber. I think her insane jealousy is so apparent regarding Gretchen. I also hope Gretchen doesn't do anything she may regret later. Vicki also needs to go. I just don't like her any longer.

Oh boy. Can't wait for next week. If Gretchen got as smashed as they have eluded too, it should be very interesting.

Last night was very telling. I think that Lynn has no chance in heck in the group. Her "cut", cut her out right away. She could cure cancer tomorrow and still not be accepted. But, I think that Vicki and Tamra are very rude to not give anyone else a chance. Also, I think Jeanna is trying to be the "mediator" and peacemaker. She seems to be the only one with an open mind who is at least making an effort to be with everyone.

I thought it was interesting that Laurie laughed and agreed to the loud remark about Vickie. Seems to me that without Vicki giving her a job a few years back, Laurie would still be living in a town house with no money.

The dress that Lynne's dd was wearing should be tossed in the garbage! Yes, she looked like a stripper, although went I first saw her, streetwalker is what came to mind. It might have looked cute from the waist up, but I was terrified that the child would sneeze. Oh boy, that would have been a "show". I'm sure Lynne paid much more than the $29.95 that it was worth!

Watching this "train wreck" is such fun! Makes me love my mundane life so much more.

The previews for next week do look good, but who knows with the editing.

I like all the ladies. Even though some get on my nerves at times, I don't want any of them to leave. They all at one time or another were callous and rude.

At the races, I don't see how they could have all sat at 1 table and it's kind of hard with that large of a party for just one conversation.

But I did think it was weird when Gretchen got her ring and she just put it on any flaunted it to Jeff's kids. If it's her engagement ring why wouldn't she wait for Jeff to put it on or to be there or at least call him since the kids said he was doing better.

I finally figured out who Lynne looks like.... Steven Tyler! :lmao: She has his mouth, though his hair is in better shape than hers. I keep waiting for her to start singing "Dude Looks Like a Lady." (She's probably also of his generation.)

Anyone who has ever been to one of those luxury boxes at a sporting event knows how much fun they can be. You get to mingle with everyone and everyone is usually there to have a good time.... except if you invite Vicki and Tamra. My goodness, they couldn't have been any more obvious if they wore stickers saying that they didn't want Lynne and Gretchen there. Gretchen looked fabulous, BTW.

Tamra seems like she does an says things to fit in. Remember in "Runaway Bride" when Julia Roberts' favorite eggs are always the way her fiance likes them? That seems to be what Tamra does. Instead of taking a stand and getting to know the 2 new girls, she clung to evil Vicki out of her own insecurities. It seems like she knows Vicki will be around next season, so in order for her to stay, she needs to cling to Vicki. Yeah, it's SO 4th grade, but evidently Tamra never learned to be secure about herself and her own convictions.

I must say, however, that if they were so obviously trying to ignore me, I'd have gotten up, moved my chair and sat at their table when everyone else left to place a bet. But, I'm snarky like that. :thumbsup2

More on last wks episode... Does anyone believe Tamra's son about the GF losing the baby? He seems like the type to lie.

I mean, at the Kentucky Derby (that's what it was right?) .

No...they were in CA at....Del Mar Racetrack is an American Thoroughbred horse racing track at the Del Mar Fairgrounds in the seaside city of Del Mar, California, 20 miles north of San Diego. Operated by the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club, it is known for the slogan: "Where The Turf Meets The Surf." It was built by a partnership including Bing Crosby, the actor Pat O'Brien, Jimmy Durante, Charles S. Howard and Oliver Hardy.

This was the worst episode so far....they spent way too much time buying those hats for the race...that was a complete bore.

And Vicki and Tamra were so rude throughout the whole race to the others. Sheesh. Why do I even watch this nonsense.....oh I know.....
because it is one big

 ......THAT'S what it was...Del Mar.

Yea, this episode sucked. I wish I could say something to Tamra and Vicki so bad...lol.

This is kind of quirky, but who was the imposter in the limo and in the suite at the race track in the short cream dress with the light pink hat????
I noticed they went out of the way not to film or mention who she was...
I thought she might have been Jeanna's daughter, but I would have thought they would have not have a problem showing her???
Anyone????

I thought it was Jeanna's daughter. I figure that they didn't tape her like that because they wanted to focus more on the drama. You know how editting is  .

This was the worst episode and next week's doesn't look much more entertaining. I miss the old O.C. when everyone pretty much got along and it just showed their lives. Not them being catty or filled with as much drama.

I didn't believe his story one bit. He doesn't strike me as the type who would step up to that responsibility since he can't hold down a job...and changes his plans like the wind. I think he conveniently came up with that BS because his mom freaked out and he needed a good sob story to calm her down - and he played her like a fiddle!

Yes, I love how the week before Tamra was saying what a player he is and this week he's responsible  . Ryan seems like one of those arrogant guys that thinks he's got such great game.

I don't think the poor boy is all that attractive...beauty is as beauty does and all that.

agnes!

I am caught up. I'm caught up up up up up.

I have too much to say about this show, which makes me question myself.:rotfl:

AGREED. I wanted to add (not sure this was posted, but I'm sure it was) that Gretchen went to vacation with her FAMILY and flew Jeff's CHILDREN in to be with him! It's not like she called 1-800-RENT-A-NURSE and flew off to Dubai.
Tamra's whole attitude about it is awful. I can't believe she'd say something like that to someone!

Lynne is....odd. I don't like her on the show. She doesn't look good. And that 'stripper' dress was hers? Oh, and her younger dd got called a stripper by her own boyfriend? The one who looks like he's straight out of juvie? Eww.

I totally agree. My daughter was in a level 3 NICU the first several months of life. She was flown by helicopter and I was lucky to get into the Ronald McDonald House across from the hospital. My husband stayed in the city we lived in to work and take care of our other children. I knew no one and I had no one. At first it did not matter because I was so worried about my daughter, but as time wore on, I really needed a break and her neonatalogist suggested I go home for a bit and visit on weekends. I felt sick about it, but I listened to him. The "normalcy" of home helped me get it together and my daughter was fine and came home after two weekend visits. I think the best thing for Gretchen was to get away for a weekend with her family and I am glad she took the time away. The whole golddigger thing irks me too. Jeff is a smart man, he knows what he is paying for and I feel he got more out of it than she ever did. The woman is always blamed, puh-lease...in most cases these men with money know what they are paying for. Why is it okay for them to use up a woman's youth and beauty but horrible for the woman to expect compensation? He wants eyecandy on his arm and she wants to experience things she would not normally get to and get nice clothes, jewelry and vehicles. Not for me personally, but they are grown adults, totally their business.

Tamra makes me sick. She gave up her son to be with Simon...I would NEVER give up my child for a man....Lauri too! How dare they judge anyone.

Tamra didn't have a problem with Gretchen when Vicki wasn't around(hat shopping). Once Vicki is in the picture, then they act like 2 spoiled, jealous children. I thought it was hilarious how Tamra and Vicki purposefully excluded themselves from the rest of the group. Yet their entire time seemed to be taken up watching and commenting on what the other housewives were doing. It really was pathetic.

First, I hope your daughter is doing better now. And second, I wholeheartedly agree with you. I give props to Gretchen for sticking around. A lot of women might've been too overwhelmed with his illness and caretaking and just ditched him. She didn't do that. If she were just a golddigger, I don't think she would have put up with all that. She must really love him.

And one thing I want to point out, these people have money. Jeff probably has a private jet(or has the capacity to hire one). So, for Gretchen to go to Arizona for the weekend, she is only a couple hours away. It's not like she was on the other side of the country or world.

Next weeks episode should be interesting. I have a feeling that whole thing between Gretchen and Ryan is creative editing by the show to create some drama. I'm sure nothing happened.

Didn't I read somewhere that Gretchen refused to actually marry Jeff while he was sick because she thought it would look bad? I think that says a lot about her. There are many and plenty of women out here that would marry that man immediately....just BECAUSE they know he wouldn't be around for a while.

I totally see that! :lmao:
