The preview for next week's show really "ticked" me off....is Tamra that insecure that she will scheme to get someone drunk and have her son seduce them to make herself look good?

Vicki and Tamra are so jealous of the new girls.....its pathetic. I'm getting quite sick of Vicki thinking the world revolves around her....I hope Don(sp?) dumps her on her fat a**! Did you see her at the races when she was walking away from the camera...OMG, she has put on weight in her legs and butt region!

Lynne doesn't "fit" and she looks so much like Steven Tyler it drives me nuts!
Love Steven as a rockstar but not as a housewife! She is not aging well at all, and the clothes she wears ---money certainly doesn't buy good taste!

Gretchen--do think she loved Jeff but she also really loved his money. She is very pretty and I like her on cause it is driving the other blonde twits around the bend with jealousy!

As for the girl in the limo, that was Jeana's daughter wasn't it? She was really trying to "stir the pot" with Tamra about Gretchen wasn't she?

One thing I remember about Jeff's kids, was how they talked so highly of Gretchen in the episode 2 weeks ago. They said they were grateful for her and happy they were there to be able to give her a break. That they could go to the hospital, because she has done so much for their father. Anyone remember?

Did anyone else think that Gretchen looked a lot better without all the makeup? When she got her ring and was just home with the kids, she just looked so young and pretty.

When Tamra found out about the whole "nugget" thing, she has so much botox that she couldn't even cry! Her head was frozen!
Vicki is a nasty, mean woman. She reeks of insecurity. I am glad Donn told her she was nasty. She treats him like such garbage. She should be kissing his butt. There aren't too many men (or people for that matter) that would put up with her obnoxious behavior. Her kids look like they can barely tolerate her. That is sad. I would never want my kids to feel that way. I think she loves them but is so over the top that they can't take it.

Tamra didn't have a problem with Gretchen when Vicki wasn't around(hat shopping). Once Vicki is in the picture, then they act like 2 spoiled, jealous children. I thought it was hilarious how Tamra and Vicki purposefully excluded themselves from the rest of the group. Yet their entire time seemed to be taken up watching and commenting on what the other housewives were doing. It really was pathetic.


First, I hope your daughter is doing better now. And second, I wholeheartedly agree with you. I give props to Gretchen for sticking around. A lot of women might've been too overwhelmed with his illness and caretaking and just ditched him. She didn't do that. If she were just a golddigger, I don't think she would have put up with all that. She must really love him.

And one thing I want to point out, these people have money. Jeff probably has a private jet(or has the capacity to hire one). So, for Gretchen to go to Arizona for the weekend, she is only a couple hours away. It's not like she was on the other side of the country or world.

Next weeks episode should be interesting. I have a feeling that whole thing between Gretchen and Ryan is creative editing by the show to create some drama. I'm sure nothing happened.

I don't blame Gretchen for wanting to get away for what a day, a weekend with her family. If I remember correctly they were at a lake in CA, not even out of state. I'm sure if Jeff needed her at that time she would have been back quickly. As it was she had his kids spending time with him which I'm sure he appreciated.

I also agree that I think Vicki is the one who stirs the pot so much. I think for as successful as she is she is also very insecure. I can't stand the way she treats her husband!

I thought Gretchen was really beautiful without all her makeup and hair done. She looked much younger that way, too. Maybe she wants to be dolled up so she fits better with Jeff's look?

I bet that next week's drama involves Gretchen not feeling well after all those shots and asking Ryan to show her where the bathroom was and he stayed around to hold her hair back.

Oh, and the pink hat situation? Gretchen was dead set on no one else getting a pink hat and then she doesn't even wear one! And then she says "Who cares? I changed my mind!" Well, YOU seemed to really care the week before when picking out hats!

I do like Gretchen, though. I think she does look pretty both with and without a lot of makeup. I wonder if they'll keep her on the show now that Jeff's passed away.

Apparently Gretchen sent Simon (Tamra's husband) an email at 1:00 in the morning on the day before the horse race. Tamra said she wanted to keep Simon away from Gretchen on that day, but she never said what was in the email!

Headed over there right now to read that one!!!!! Now....why wouldnt Bravo show them talking about that? That would give us all a good insight into what has happening that day at the races, then. Especially since we know that Gretchen was "with" Jeff when he was still married to his previous wife (from various other message boards according to his sister and relatives). Maybe we could all understand the wives wanting to keep their hubbies away from someone who has done that. I really like Tamra...I think she has a sick sarcastic sense of humor that people might not get...but to me, she is likeable (however, if she did set up Gretchen in next weeks episode to be seduced by her son....my feelings might change. but hopefully that was just creative editing for the previews)
I thought Gretchen looked so much prettier WITHOUT the makeup....my god...she looked so much younger! And believe, me...I love makeup....I'm an 80's girl: I love my black eyeliner and hairspray and i aint giving it up....but she should wear less.

I agree. Tamra is one of my favorites. She's grown on me I've liked them all (except Lynne and her family). Vicki, I love watching how strange she is. I am also shocked that Tamra would do this. How sad is she. But I have a feeling that Gretchen knows what she is up to and the turn it on her.

Lynn should not be on the show. I do not like her at all. You are right she does look like Stephen Tyler.

I do think Gretchen loved Jeff. She is young and I think she handled it the best she could. It is very hard to sit by someone you love bedside 24/7 and just watch them die.

I was absolutely disgusted by the way Vicki and Tamra acted. Grow up! I still love Gretchen and I actually felt sad for Lynne (aka Steven Tyler). It's so funny that other people are noticing that! I thought I was the only one.

I like Tamra too. But, I think she is one of those types that need to be the center of attention. And when she isn't(Gretchen), she turns into a child.

Oh, and how about Vicki on her laptop in the limo...again! Attention seeking and avoidance all at once. She's gotta make people believe that she is this busy, important business woman. In the meantime, she is goofing off and answering personal emails. And I think she does that because she knows how much it bugs Jeana.

I don't care for Lynne one way or the other. I think she'll go the way of Quinn...bye bye. I wish they would bring Tammy back. I really liked her.

Well, I am watching this year.

Last year, I got a survey from NBC/Bravo on the HWs. They asked a lot of questions about Quinn, and whether I enjoyed watching her and if her constant talk of religion made me uncomfortable. Quinn just made me uncomfortable in general (remember her awful, awkward dinner with Billy's friends and her alternate persona Roxie?). Ouch. Glad she is gone.

I think Tamra and Vicki are acting like immature 6th graders with their BFF nonsense, and Tamra "hazing" Gretchen. Vicki is too much of a drama queen; why does she have this desperate need for everyone to be proud of her? She is way too controlling. I could never work for her, nor would I ever want to. Can you imagine being in her employ? Geez, I would rather swim naked in sewage.

I wonder what, if anything, Lynne teaches her children about others who are less fortunate? Must be nice for Raquel: her greatest injustice suffered in life is not getting a double dip for her spray-on tan. Lynne's very spoiled brats are coming across as uber-shallow, particularly highlighted by the current economic environment. I do not think that family is a good addition to the show. I find myself fast forwarding through the parts of the show highlighting her helions.

I guess Gretchen is sweet. But I cringe a little when I see her and Jeff kiss. I just think that's a little gross, probably because that big of an age difference screams "daddy issues" to me.
