2026 Tickets - Buy Now?

I don't keep my eye on pricing as much as others on this board. My family visited DL this summer on the 70th Anniversary ticket special but are already talking about going back in the summer of 2026. In doing so, would it be wise to lock in the current multi-day prices offered by some of the ticket vendors (before the 2026 price bumps) or is there serious speculation that there could be ticket specific sales in the spring again like there was last year?

More so, was the 70th anniversary sale actually a better deal than the 2024 prices?

(Assume multi day tickets with LL and staying at a good neighbor hotel)

Prices typically go up THIS WEEK. However, there is also a chance of discounted tickets that will beat the current price. It is kind of a gamble. Buy now to beat the price hike. Or what in hopes of getting a better deal.

I'm in the same boat, wanting to buy tickets to use in March. Pre-covid knowledge taught me to buy well in advance, but things have changed so much with all the extra deals now. I think my current plan is to wait and see how much they increase, and most likely buy from Get Away Today (they will have old prices for a few days after the increase, and their tickets are refundable), then wait to see if there is a spring deal and return the standard tickets if I need to.

When they raise prices, do they typically do so starting on January 1, or is it starting immediately? And do places that resell tickets (maybe resell isn't the correct term, authorized sellers) normally have tickets at the old price for a little while (inventory on hand type of thing)? DH has discounted DL tickets through his job and I was hoping to avoid buying for a few more weeks.

The price hike is immediate for tickets bought after the price hike, meaning if they hike the price on October 8th, that price will be in effect for new tickets starting on October 8th. Authorized sellers will may have tickets at the old price for a couple days but it is not guaranteed.
