2026 MMB info Announced

I just purchased the MMB (for the OTUP and the access to lounges). I'm wondering how Disney knows I purchased this, because I can't find any reflection of my purchase in my DVC dashboard. I have an email with a confirmation number, but beyond that, I can find no evidence of this purchase in my DVC profile/dashboard/etc. I'm not too worried, as Disney knows everything. :P But, I'm curious about how CMs will know when I request access to the lounge at Epcot? Or how DVC knows when I want to book and purchase OTUP?

From my understanding from my conversation with them this morning, it will not show on our accounts until Jan. 1st when the membership becomes active.

Am I correct that they still haven't fixed the issue where the second named member (usually the spouse) on a membership cannot receive benefits when traveling without the member who purchased MMB?

It is set up that way on purpose. It’s a program by owner so if two owners want to take advantage of the priority lounge, both have to join.

It’s the same thing when purchasing tickets, OTU points. The owner with MMB has to call…but can get them for the rest of the family.

Your DVC membership card will say DVC-BY now instead of just DVC-Y.

I am wondering the same thing.

And then tickets for Disney World just shows a discount rather than the price of the ticket. Probably cause its subject to dynamic pricing while Disneyland is not?
Most likely but just put in your date on the WDW site and subtract $140 or $80 depending on where your date aligns on the sheet.

They also probably have it worded with save a flat $ amount as it sounds like everyone is getting the same savings. This year it was up to 10% off I believe but there were several dates that were only 2% cheaper. If they had just stated the flat rate discount it probably wouldn’t have been so heavily scrutinized. Also the WDW was a book at 12 pages as it listed 50 different prices compared to this years flyer.

Can someone clarify for me, I have never had an issue getting into the lounge 6 of us. This trip they said we need another member since you have 6 people. This has never happened before. Is it because I was booked in 2 studios rather than a 2 bedroom?

It says:

“The enrolled Member can bring up to 4 guests or the number of guests on their resort stay reservation, whichever is greater. Capacity restrictions may apply”.

Was the issue that your name wasn’t on the reservation for the 2nd studio? Did they make an exception for you?

But the primary benefit attaches to the membership, not the member. If my wife buys MMB separately from me, it's not like she gets a second batch of BOGO OTUP.

Yes that's why.

If you had 12 people in a grand villa, you could bring all 12 because they're on the same reservation as you. The people in the second studio weren't on YOUR reservation.

Isn’t the exception to this would be if you had two use years?
Yes the exception is people with multiple use years but for people like us who like to have all of the contracts titled exactly the same with the same use year it is a blow.

Afterall this is called "Membership Magic Beyond" which imo should encompass all who are on your "Membership" as it is not called "Member Magic Beyond"

One could technically buy the OTUP for 25/26 or 26/27 use years to double dip if your SO purchases but in that case you are most likely planning on using those points at WDW so then there would not be any early lounge access for that next year.

I bought it the first day it came out last year and didn't realize that it was per member. This left my SO who visits the parks more without the get on the waitlist earlier for the lounges which at popular times is a big benefit. This year I will be sure to purchase in SO name even though they will now have to call MS to purchase the BOGO OTUP
