31 dog stuffies!

so am I NOT the only person to set aside the containers with just enough to use up on vacation so I can take them and toss when done (cheaper per unit price vs. travel size :rotfl: )?
My husband keeps a zip lock bag full of soap slivers for travel!

Ok our bathroom reno's are almost done. The main floor bathroom is totally done so last night I moved all our junk from the basement bathroom to the new main floor bath. In the process, I got rid of an embarrassing number of empty shampoo bottles.

It's not much but I got rid of it so it counts.

My beagle does not shred her toys, in fact if a seam rips, she gets upset and wants it fixed ASAP! We still have 5 bins of stuffies for her!😲

We just adopted another beagle and needed to make some room, so he can get his own toys!

I buy my grand puppy toys, He watches the washing machine and dryer so closely when they need a wash. He selects a lovey and carries it on walks. It’s so sweet.

What kind of board did you go with...? I really need to get something for my pins. they're in a drawer at the moment. I want to sort out the keepers and then take the rest on a cruise with me for folk to nab off a free board. I just don't trade in the parks like I used to.

Our car was totaled (no one was hurt, it's fine) so I dumped a bunch of old paperwork for cars we haven't had in over a decade when I was filing the new paperwork. Got rid of a license plate and holder. Dumped an old EZpass (didn't work anymore since it was more than 10 yrs. old, but did get a new one) and holder. Cleaned out the bags of stuff we took out of the car and trashed a lot of it. Realized we have way too many reusable bags and stuck some upstairs for the cat litter. Bringing in coffee beans to work tomorrow (we don't have a grinder) that we received as a gift so someone can take it. And also an air freshener spray that I can't stand the scent of but someone at work will take for sure. I just leave stuff like that in the break room and leave a "free to a good home" note. I'm trying to keep an eye out for 2 snack trays so I can trash the 4 we have that are pretty wrecked. We really only need 2. Bag of toys to take to good will that was hiding out under our back seat that we found when cleaning out the car.

My son used his CnC machine to cut out a sheet of finished plywood with 1/4in cork aheard to it in the shape of a Mickey head, he is suppose to make a matching one but in a Minnie shape when he is done some other projects

for some reason one of the hardest things for me to let go of-esp. if it's comfy  I will pack for vacation pj's I know I need to toss so that when I toss them at the hotel and head for home there's no second chances to reconsider. old fleece I can console myself with cutting into dust rags.

thats too funny, my family says I'm silly because I do the same thing. I take old nightgowns or other things I want to get rid of on vacay, wear it and then toss it so I have room for souvenirs. 😁

how about old slippers or sandles? I get the cheapo knock-off fur lined crocks to use out in the garage/on the deck. when they are on their last legs they get packed to be tossed on the last day of vacation and the next pair goes into rotation :rotfl: (I also like having the spare space in the suitcase for schlepping stuff home).

when my kids were little since we always did wdw in the late fall or winter I would hold on to the summer clothes they were about to outgrow to get one last use out of them. worn out got tossed/anything in decent shape got laundered the day before we left and put folded in the laundry room with a 'free for the taking' sign.

Trashed two snack trays that were on their last legs literally. We will keep these last two until they fall apart and then buy two new. Threw out a trashed sweatshirt, pair of my husband's flip flops that needed to be out. Then another shopping bag of kids toys to be donated along with surplus dish towels. I stalled for a bit but seem to be picking up steam so hopefully more updates to come in the next few days.

Feb totals, not very productive this month! At least a few items left the house

3 dead pens - trashed
1 splintery wooden spoon (another one found) - trashed

1 grocery bag of paperwork - shredded and recycled
1 ill fitting storage container - recycled
1 calender - recycled
1 Gift Card - used up and recycled

I did my clothes closet today. I have a laundry basket of stuff to go.
I also took out 3 coats from the hall closet. And a few knickknacks.
I plan on looking in DS closet before the night is over.
