2024 Epcot International Food and Wine Festival Information and Planning Thread

It certainly appears that way. We have 45 days until the start of the festival with no announcement on special events

If you go by the last festival prior to COVID-19 (2019), info on the special events was released on 5/11/19 and reservations started on 5/14/19.

EDIT: And that festival started on August 29th.
And it looks like no use of Communicore Hall for special events. They will probably use it as a location to pass out AP magnets

Such an inspired new design of Epcot! So well designed for sitting around and for magnet pick up!

QUESTION regarding Eat To the Beat concerts: How long are typical sets for Eat To The Beat? (Seems like they'd be either 30 or 45 minutes as a guess).

Also, do bands typically switch up their set list or do they basically play the same set for each of the 3 time slots each afternoon/evening? What has everyone's experiences been with this?

My experience was each set was different, but different bands may be different.

The sets generally last about 30 minutes. Some bands change up the set list and some pretty much play the same songs for all 3 sets.

Thanks! Yeah I figured the mileage may vary depending on the band. I'm sure the majority of folks want to hear the obvious hits but I'd imagine it'd get pretty monotonous if you played the same identical 3 sets lol.

Makes total sense. I'm really pumped to see Yellowcard and really hope they diversify it a bit. They're one of my favorite bands and out of sheer dumb luck we just happened to already be staying at Boardwalk that week :D

Have all the dates been released for the Eat to the Beat concerts, I was trying to book for early October and the dates show up but then absolutely nothing is available?

I had the same issue last year and literally had to just keep checking every day.
And I also did find that going to specific restaurants "day of" could have availability.

Thanks for the replies, I was booking the rest of my dining today and thought I would get the length of stay benefit but it didnt even appear for end of September, had to go back a few weeks to get any booking info to show up. Guess I just have to keep checking!

I didn’t see Ireland booth listed. Hopefully, it is back as I really like the Roasted Irish Sausage and the Guinness Baileys Coffee Shake. The Chocolate Pudding Cake is a fan favorite too.
We really enjoyed the chocolate pudding cake last year. But as someone from Ireland, the sausage was definitely not my favourite 🙈
