2024 Epcot International Food and Wine Festival Information and Planning Thread

Does anyone know if the Eat to the Beat dining packages at non-buffet restaurants require you to choose from a limited menu or if you get to choose from full menu? Thanks!
Typically it's the full menu with the possibility that a couple of high-end things might be excluded. Think it generally follows dining plan logic.

They have filled in some of the empty dates with additional bands - including some mid-week dates. Once again, I don't recognize many, but I know someone here was excited about Foreigner's Journey and they're on the schedule.

Per a post on another site, these are the additions:
Aug. 29 - Finesse
Sept. 3-5 - Finesse
Sept. 10-12 - Hooligans
Sept. 17-19 - Foreigners Journey
Sept. 24-26 - Dian Diaz
Oct. 1-3 - Latin Ambition
Oct. 8-10 - Funkafied
Oct. 15-17 - Gilly and the Girl
Oct. 22-24 - Hayfire
Oct. 29-31 - Evolution Motown
Nov. 5-7 - Sugar Vibe
Nov. 12-14 - M-80s

And now Dian Diaz and Latin Ambition? Every single act while we are there is music I have never heard nor do I have an interest in hearing. Must be a Latin theme for that week+. :sad2:

In the past, you were able to select items from the standard menu. Appetizer, Entrée, Dessert.

No appetizer this year. This is on WDW website:

“Spice Road Table: Meal includes 2 small plates, a shared tagine, a shared dessert platter and a nonalcoholic beverage (or alcoholic beverage for Guests 21 and older)
Other Participating Restaurants: Meal includes an entrée and dessert OR a full buffet (where applicable), as well as one nonalcoholic beverage (or alcoholic beverage for Guests 21 and older)”

We saw her last year and it was really entertaining and total energy! Wish she would have played percussion more, but overall a fun performance.

One thing about all the Paisley Park crew is they give amazing live shows. Sheila E has been on my list for ages but I could never get the dates to work out before, so I'm ecstatic.

Is booking for eat to the beat dining package limited to your 60-day window, or can everyone book today for any date?

The eat to beat dining page is up, but mine only shows calendar dates through Sept 7 and says none available. I think it is not actually live yet, but who knows with Disney.

I believe that you can only make reservations for the dining packages 60 days in advance, like other ADR's.

Thanks - seems like we made them on opening day in the past, but opening date may have already been within our 60 day window.

I booked Biergarten for 8/30 to see The Fray. I'm not sure if it was necessary, but at least I know we will have good seats. I wish Mexico or France participated. Those are actually restaurants we like to eat at. :rotfl: :rotfl:

I miss the broader restaurant participation too. I wonder if they’re choosing not to participate based on what Disney pays them or if it’s a strategic move on Disney’s part to funnel people to Disney-owned restaurants?

Just did a check on the website and the latest it will allow me to book a dining package is September 7, 2024 which is 60 days from today.

My check-in date is October 6th so I have a while to go.

Thanks - same here. We have to wait a little while. I think we must have already been within our 60 day window on the first booking date last year because I am pretty sure we booked on day 1.

Booked Coral Reef for Yellowcard. My 23 age kid said wants to see them, as heard from her older sibling playing 90’s music, and both like Green Day’s punk start music.

Not sure how crowded it will be the last night for them, but thought why not have the way to get a seat first, before standby.

If it is anything like Simple Plan (same era of music) for Garden Rocks... it will be quite busy. I didnt do the dining plan for the Monday of Simple Plan's performance and greatly regretted it!

I didn’t see Ireland booth listed. Hopefully, it is back as I really like the Roasted Irish Sausage and the Guinness Baileys Coffee Shake. The Chocolate Pudding Cake is a fan favorite too.
