Finally figured out that my DD (adult) would really appreciate some new gel pens for Christmas as she likes to color with them in the Dover Coloring books or any other coloring books that have the heavy white pages..

So - I looked on-line for gel pens and found a great assortment of 100 pens (also had one with 84 pens), but the shipping was close to $10!!

Anyone know of a good source with reasonable shipping?

And how about some other coloring books that are the heavy white pages? When she's confined to bed, this is a great way for her to pass the time.. (She's not big into reading.. Hmpf! Can't be a kid of mine!! Must have been a switch of babies when she was born.. )

Have you tried the scrapbooking section of your local craft store?

The gel pens are usually found there, the paper is sometimes there or in the drawing section. Our craft store keeps them in the spinning book holders at the end of the aisles.

Can sometimes find them in the larger stationary stores.

DOVER currently has one that is stained glass on translucent paper. Once it is colored, the page can be torn out & hung in a window.

Many sites give free shipping if you order over a set amount, combining purchases might be better than paying for that shipping.

Thanks all! Went back to Amazon again and found a set of 48 - along with a bunch of the Dover coloring books - and they all qualify for free shipping.. Guess I might as well see if I can find something for my son-in-law there too..
