Can anyone share what it was like getting off the ship this year? Parking lot H is down the street and we usually carry our bags off with us.

I’m curious about express walk off as we’ll have 2 bags each. Curious if it’s easy to get out of the terminal with that many bags and if the shuttle can accommodate it.

Is it one shuttle or multiple. I’ve been to NOLA plenty and know the roads are a mess, don’t want to ruin the wheels in our bags 😅

Could one of you stay with the bags while the other gets the car? And then picks you up?

Someone with experience might know.

I would expect the shuttle to handle any amount of luggage you have. I can See where you would wonder that, as you drop off luggage on the way to boarding.
Yeah I’d like to pick up will just have to get a feel for when we exit the ship. Guess it just adds to the journey right? Lol

I live here, and I recently went out of my way to be dropped off at the terminal instead of parking. Disney (or the port) makes you park in a satellite lot (instead of the attached garage), right next to a huge homeless encampment. Car breakins have been rampant in the city, and even the city itself warned away from parking in open lots and favoring garages. I know the satellite lot seems to have security, but I wouldn't count on it being 24/7, especially if it isnt embarkation/debarkation days. There are a couple of private garages that are close, and on embarkation days, they usually have sign spinners and electronic signs pointing you to them. They also have shuttles, but I couldn't speak to their quality.
