Why not take the DVC fund and cruise fund and the Corvette fund and put in the house fund since you mention at the top you have a WDW vacation fund....or take the cruise and WDW vacation fund and Corvette fund and buy DVC!!!

The house fund is just for maintance or remodeling that we may do, so nothing earth shaterring there. I try to maintain 10% of the home value in a maintance fund, so need to get that 3000 back in it soon to cover some projects that are coming up

The cruise is one we are going on next Aug so not using those funds towards a DVC or other things unless it is an absolute emergency.

Also, I don't mind taking time to save for things like the DVC or the Corvette, they are line items in my budget and I don't want to finance them so we save for them over time. Not entirely convinced I want DVC, yes the accomomdations are stunning, just not sure I really want to pull the trigger for the amount of points I am going to want for the length of stay I want. This is the equivent of putting it on my wish list and saving for it. When the time comes maybe I will buy the DVC or the corvette or maybe something of better interest might come along, never know! Good to have liquid or semi liquid funds available.

New: Repair front door
Research how to repair split in the door. It's a composite door with a stained glass insert, so it's expensive. I'd already tried JB weld. Looked awful and wasn't paintable.
Repair door with Bondo. (of all things, this is the fix for a door in full sun). - Took 4 coats, sanding in between.
Fix bottom seal that has come loose and cracked. - Ordered a new type, since I'd have to take the door off of the hinges to install something similar.
Repaint door - already have paint
Install new weatherstripping - this may wait until my outdoor cat stops tearing up the one we have...

The ¼ round is cut and dry fitted! I ran out of willpower to haul the air compressor in and get it down:
