Slidell is getting pummeled. NOLA still has power, generally, from what the Mayor just said. This is the fastest moving hurricane I have ever seen.

Yes lost power for a little while, but it’s back. Lost a fence & maybe damage to roof. Few shingles off. Hoping they can just be replaced & there is no other damage. Think the worst is over here.

I am not sure if "good" is the right word to use, but thankful y'all appear to have staved off major damage.

My friend is in Gentilly and she's freaking out. Didn't think it would be this bad. I hate that she's alone.

Thanks for sharing that. We are closest to belle Chasse on that table. But I see Chalmette got it worse.

5 day forecast puts ~40-60% development into a tropical depression in the Caribbean. This one looks to be located well south of the Cayman Islands, but I'm keeping an eye on this one. Those dipping Western low fronts might steer this further east.

Sorry about your fence/roof, glad you have power. I'm still waiting to hear from a few friends in the Houma area, and Chauvin ,but most reporting they're ok, some w/o power. Hope no more issues for y'all!

My friend sent me images from the eye. Luckily she had very minimal damage but is without power. She said her neighbors car had its windshield smashed but that’s about it.

Yeah most ppl I know just have potential roof issues..missing shingles. I have power though so I’m lucky with that.
