I am on here a bit and don't remember seeing this posted. When are we expecting to see these listed? We were thinking that we should have seen them by now, unless I am a few months early? I do remember one November rushing to book an opening day cruise the night before we left, accidentally paid for the whole thing and took forever to get our money back, only to reshop the same cruise and room onboard and pay less. We just want to get our next DCL cruise booked so we can start paying that one down.

You must not have done much of a search, as this is a quite frequent post/question. Based on the past, they most likely will be posted in October for the first part of 2018.

I will admit to being ridiculously lazy, I usually only view the topics on the first page. I either didn't see them or ignored them because they hadn't mattered to me yet. Low and behold my DW asks the question last night and well I guess I am guilty of starting another 2018 thread;)

To be fair I just did a search and there were 2 threads that only had a couple of posts each so they tumbled off the board quickly. I try to avoid forum searches because they usually aren't that great. This one did seem to work.

Ha....I was wondering the same thing. My family wants to do a Christmas cruise in 2018.

What is the point of this, I did a quick search on 2018 and in the first couple of pages I saw 2. Looking at the threads you linked, 2 have 2 replies, 1 has 3 replies, and the one with the the most replies ended Aug 6 with very sporadic traffic.

I am a frequent poster/lurker, but don't live on the boards, so sorry if it bugs you that I added another thread to the list. I guess I will need to pay more attention in the future for starting a thread.

First, DCL will dribble out the January - early May cruises this fall. Then some time in March 2017 or so - the summer 2018 cruises will come out. Finally, in May or June - the fall 2018 cruises will be released. You have a LONG time to wait to book the Christmas 2018 cruises.

Does the Eastbound Transatlantic cruise come out with the early May cruises or the Summer cruises? I am hoping it is the latter as we are sailing in February 2017 and want to book a placeholder to use for this.

The May Transatlantic cruise comes out with the summer cruises, and the September Transatlantic cruise comes out with the fall cruises.

I was thinking the same thing.

No, I don't think they would sail out of NYC in the winter.

And if they did, expect rough seas and possible storms. The area off the coast of the Carolinas is not called The Graveyard of the Atlantic for no reason. And the majority of those happened in the winter.

Ask passengers on the Anthem about storms that don't do what they are supposed to do. And general seas.

Thank you for clearing that up and confirming I won't be doing that cruise even if they did offer it lol

So the sailings in Oct and Nov from New York to PC, would that not be rough seas mybe ?

Depends on potential hurricanes - let's not forget Sandy was at the end of October...

As I understand it, the water off the Carolina coasts can be bumpy anyway. I've never done it though.

Well of course none of us can tell what the ocean will be like but we have a rough idea what it's normally like

So grudging by this are we better doing another cruise and avoiding the New York to PC route

Am from UK so don't really no much about the ocean there or anything

We are doing the western in Feb but already planning out next one but my partner defo doesn't want it rough if it can be helped and is known to be mainly rough

IDK... There are lots of people who do the route. RCCL and NCL I know have ships almost year-round if not year-round... So it can't be that bad or I would think people would avoid like crazy.
