I have the app, but haven't really used it yet so I don't know if it works like this or not, but I like to build myself an Excel spreadsheet each year which includes all the menus and prices and I check a box that adds up the cost of everything I want to try. And if it doesn't really fit into my budget I get to play the game of "What do I REALLY want". lol

I'm excited that I'll be there twice this year! We're going down on Sept. 2nd just for F&W, and then we'll be down again Sept. 13th -16th for a trip with some friends!

The app does the same. You can choose the items you want to try by clicking the “wished” button. Then on the event summary it gives you a total amount of all your wished for items. You can filter alcoholic drinks and everything. It’s pretty neat! Here is my event summary from last year

We went once five years ago on the Saturday and Sunday of Columbus Day weekend. The lines were so long we actually didn’t buy anything from the F&W booths. Blasphemy right? This year, I will be prepared!

We are going Columbus Day weekend. We went the same weekend last year. We found as long as we arrived at opening we were able to hit the booths with no problem. We were out of there by early to mid afternoon. Hoping for the same experience this time! Have fun!

Just downloaded the app. Is the list of booth items based off of this year's menus or last year's? Not sure how quickly the app developers can get info uploaded since Disney just posted menus today.

I'll need to check the "passport" I got last year, but it looks like the Patagonia booth is gone. Can't remember if Scotland was there last year (I'll check when I get home) but I'm almost positive it was there in 2016 and it's not listed this year. I don't see any new booths as far as the country-specific ones are concerned, but I could be wrong. I know India was new/re-introduced last year (as was Thailand) and I'm so happy that the mango lassi is back for this year.

They are FINALLY spelling Moqueca right. I'm glad they changed Brazil's menu. Moqueca is such a rich and beautiful food when platted right, Escondidinho (little hidden one) is just a not that pretty, specially when served in paper plates!

Beef Short Rib dish in France is different. That was my favorite dish and they had to go and ruin it by changing it to beer basted and adding bacon. I know there's a lot of bacon lovers out there but I really dislike it.

Right now you can not select this years festival. Once the developers get the information uploaded you can select it. You can select previous festivals too.

I just used it for F&G this year so I’m hoping and they already have the event showing you just can’t select it right now since there were no menus. The other thing too is if prices are not released not sure if they will update the app using last years prices or wait until they are released.
