Just Booked SPD on the phone. Although not scientific my early guess is that it was 45% off of dining. We booked 7 nights at CBR, standard view, Jan 28-Feb4. It cost $3,652.

Do you mind me asking how many is in your group for that price?

Im not going until the end of April but how are you all getting the discounts? Disney hasn't put anything on their site yet? Just curious.

I just modified our reservation for Poly 1/25 to 2/4. Garden view room, 3 adults, 2 kids under 9. the best deal only saved us $550 off of a $9500 reservation. Horrible. Even the CM said the discount wasn't very good this year. No UOC out yet either. She checked GF and Contemporary and the price was actually more than what we got at the Poly. I'm so disappointed in the discounts I'm thinking about taking my $9k to Hawaii instead.

Couldn't get a discount for garden view room at Beach Club, 2/9-2/12; and upgrading to pool view would cost me $100 MORE, with the discount. Bummer. I hope some AP discounts come along or something because I will downgrade to Pop Century or POR rather than pay full price for this.

Once you have a "VISA" reservation on MDE you can go to change reservation and possibly look at other options. Very interesting development there...

Frustrated! Mine doesn't say VISA or Winter Discount anywhere. Did I not get it? The price per night is better, but I have no option of changing/ looking on mine...?

I got mine about 8AM. Someone else later said they were told they got the last GV at YC, so maybe they are just gone for now?

I'm just guessing here, but I have a feeling they haven't released all the rooms yet. She told me that they can only discount rooms that are available. There's no way that resort is full. Then again, they only release so many discounts.

Question for anyone else that has booked:
The confirmation email I got says deposit due Oct 1st, but the deposit has already charged to my Disney visa. Anyone else seeing the same thing? I call after the frenzy dies down just to make sure everything is ok, but was just curious what others were seeing.

Mine was RO and it shows "Deposit Received."

For those who booked Room Only today: what does your confirmation email or MDE say the rate is? Mine just shows Garden View, etc but others say theirs says either "Winter Discount" or "Visa" . They can view theirs online, but I just see a summary. Now I wonder if I got the Visa discount?
