You can do one cash and one on points. You could also do all cash should you wish.

Due to the unique nature of this special event, Disney Vacation Club has waived the policy of requiring at least one passenger to sail using Vacation Points. If Members would like to pay by using both cash and Vacation Points, individual passengers must be paid for by using all cash or all Vacation Points.

If you pay cash for any passenger, payment is due in full at the time the booking is made.

Is a cash res a final transaction? Wondering if refundable up to what would typically be final payment date on a normal cruise.

No idea if DH could get the week off work this far out.

Up until a certain date it's fully refundable. Typically, that's 90 days out (for non-concierge level on cruises out of a US port) but could be as many as 120.
