The member cruise tends to be higher than a standard DCL cruise.
For example...a 5A on the August 12th Eastern Fantasy sailing shows a price of $2,576 pp (for first two passengers). The member cruise for a 5A has a cash price of $2,749 pp. The member cruise price includes gratuities.
Also I forget...do you have to pay the entire cruise upfront on booking day? I'm thinking yes.

They are doing a 7-Night Eastern Caribbean cruise on the Fantasy August 26, 2017! Booking to begin August 28th.
Point/cash chart pretty high...I figured it would be for a seven night.
How fast will this member cruise sell out? I will be on a the Western Caribbean cruise Sept 3 and wonder if I could get the onboard 10% discount, if anything is still available.
Me, too, plus the kids are back in school then.DH says NO to me, too much money
The 2016 cruise was sold out by 2pm. Besides, there will be no discount on the member cruise, since DVC charters the ship. How fast will this member cruise sell out? I will be on a the Western Caribbean cruise Sept 3 and wonder if I could get the onboard 10% discount, if anything is still available.
Yes, but if you charge it to a Disney Visa, you have 6 months interest-free to pay. Also I forget...do you have to pay the entire cruise upfront on booking day? I'm thinking yes.
Cash/Point Rates for 2017 Member Cruise: https://secure.cdn2.wdpromedia.com/...ts/cruise/2017_MC_Points_Chart_WEB_080316.pdfThe point cost starts at 290 pp. Would the cash price be the same as the normal price for that itinerary on the Fantasy?
I think it's fully refundable until 90 or 120 days out. (That depends on destination & length of cruise. ) I think you only pay the $95 to change, not to cancel.Does anyone know what the cancellation policy is for booking on cash? I know that it will incur a $95 fee but anything else for those that have booked before. Really considering this but DH can't cruise so looking for a traveling partner right now. Sounds amazing and it is the week before I go back to work so it works out and I really really want to do a member cruise!!!
