2017 DISNEYLAND RESORT HALLOWEEN TIME / MICKEY'S HALLOWEEN PARTY THREAD!

I've also heard of people getting them last minute in certain circumstances by asking nicely (e.g., everyone in their group has a ticket except for one), but those are instances of pixie dust that you shouldn't count on. I don't think concierge can guarantee tickets either. So I say try to buy them on the phone asap and if that doesn't work, you can try asking when you get there but have a backup plan for the evening.

I saw it happen before my very eyes last year at city hall. A grandma got a ticket to join the rest of the family but I would imagine that there is a limit to the number of grandmas that can be pixie dusted this way. The CM did have to call over a supervisor and get permission to give poor ole granny the ticket. Call NOW, it is by far your best shot.

Does anyone have an update on characters at the party? Went and checked Kenny this morning - according to his website Rabbit is out???? Rabbit is my favorite and we've only caught him once! Kenny makes it sound like he's on his own in critter country - is he with Pooh or are Pooh and Tigger elsewhere? Do the villains rotate? Maleficent has sets listed for the entire evening, so I wasn't sure if she is now constant? Didn't see anything about Dr. Facilier (I know I spelled that wrong, haha) or Hades, but some them mentioned earlier in the thread. Sorry for all my questions - just so excited!!! :)

I went to check the MHP ticket website this morning and was surprised to see that they have tickets again for sale for select days (9/20, 9/22 and all of the Tuesdays in October except Halloween).

We'll know more on Wednesday how things are going this year (after the first party).

Last year, Rabbit met in Critter Country, along with Pooh and friends, and they were in Halloween costumes. Maleficent did met throughout the evening, but not for the whole evening. They had two sets of villains that swapped in and out throughout the evening. I can't recall if Dr. Facilier was part of the sets anymore, but you can meet him (usually) during the day wandering around NOS. I think they might have substituted Ratcliffe for Hades or Jafar (one of the head characters).

We met Rabbit last week in Crotter Cou try at the meet with Pooh, the CM did tell us it was the last day though (Sept 10th)
Dr Favilier was roaming NOS

And now online MHP tickets are all showing as sold out again. So either it was a glitch or they briefly got back in a handful of tickets that have now sold out...

Oh no! Well hopefully he'll be back for the party! My mistake - I thought the first party was Friday! Jumping the gun here!! :hyper:

Can anyone tell me where the reserved parade viewing area is for the Frightfully Fun Parade? Even if it is your best guess. Just trying to get an idea. We have the Dinner Package at Blue Bayou and was just wondering.

Last year, the viewing area was on both sides of Main Street, running from just south of the mid-Main Street parade crossings (the one that goes from Starbucks to Carnation Cafe) to about the Crystal Arcade on the west side and to just above the Main Street Cinema on the east side. It was a good view, but most parade viewing is down in Town Square (facing the Train Station). We should (hopefully) know tomorrow evening where the viewing are will be this year.

Can anyone tell me what rides are part of he haunts tour this year?

Thanks!

Well I see this earlier...

"Spoke to a team leader this morning on the phone for tour bookings, she confirmed the Happiest Haunts Tour format remains the same as last year unfortunately. It'll be in DL only, going over history and some of the Halloween themes, ending at HM where you get a fast pass. No ride walk ons. Of course you get the sweet treat and pin as well.

We're going to skip it and keep our BB F! reservation for that night instead."

if this is true that is disappointing and will have to skip...

wait for it.... wait for it.... NONE! lol, this year all you get is a fast pass to the Haunted Mansion. that's it! :(

It's worth noting the description of the tour online doesn't mention that at all so even a FP for HMH isn't necessarily guaranteed. (which is ridiculous because the LEAST that could be offered here to tour takers is a VIP escort to the front of that line!) https://disneyland.disney.go.com/events-tours/disneys-happiest-haunts/

Pretty sucky. I actually head that the tour this year sucked from a friend of mine that went on Friday last week. Even the special souvenir pin sucks (I have pics). In 2015 we got an awesome Hatbox Ghost pin and VIP entry to Big Thunder, Space Mountain and Haunted Mansion. For $84 or whatever, this year sounds like a big failure.

The Halloween tour seems to be an experiment in how little Disney can get away with doing for $85 and they get more bold with it every year. (Next year, the entire experience will be a Tour Guide walking past the group and waving -- Tour Guide waving subject to weather and staff availability.)

Right?! They did the same thing with the holiday tour! All the rides gone from the tour. At least with that one you get parade seats, but I can't imagine spending that money on the Happy Haunts tour...
