2017 DISNEYLAND RESORT HALLOWEEN TIME / MICKEY'S HALLOWEEN PARTY THREAD!

I just checked -- both after logging in and without logging in to the DLR site -- and I didn't see the info either. Then again, those closure dates for Space Mountain are in such a specific, easy-to-miss place on the site that who knows where the Halloween ticket sale dates might be hiding? :rotfl:

I thought it was just me! When I clicked on the link I couldn't find the dates either.

I just looked at the special events section on the website and it says this:

Mickey's Halloween Party
Select Nights September to October 2017

Get ready to trick-or-treat at this frightfully fun event featuring spectacular fireworks, dancing and photo ops with some popular Disney Characters. Purchase of a separate event admission ticket is required to attend. General admission tickets go on sale July 24, 2017, while signed-in Annual Passholders can purchase special pre-sale tickets starting July 17, 2017.

Come on Disney the dates!!!!

I really want the booking info confirmed! Chase cardholders just lost early booking privileges this year for Disneyworld's food and wine festival as Chase pulled out of sponsoring it- Chase doesn't sponsor the Halloween party at Disneyland do they? The partnership is more for driving ticket sales out here?

I don't think they sponsor the Halloween party, but I could be wrong. I just know that the Disney Visa folks can buy their tickets when the AP and DVC people do.

Okay, so a few of us have noticed the same thing -- no ticket sale dates! Those dates must have been put up on the DLR site with the assumption that the news would have already been announced by now. Someone probably made them take the info down right away.

It's a good thing some of our quick-to-act DIS'ers noticed the info and copied it before it disappeared!

There is no chance there will be a party night on a Saturday, correct? I'm thinking not since Friday has been the theme so far but it'd be nice to be certain I don't need to worry about it for our one day whirlwind... :faint:

I would say probably not, but you never know. Just when we think we know what they are doing or not doing, they do something totally different.

The chances are low for Saturday parties, based on the past, but there is no way to guarantee that until the dates are official announced. There have been Saturday parties in the past, but that usually happened closer to Halloween day when the party schedule became more erratic.

Thats what I was afraid of

We are going October 14th with my parents in tow. They haven't even seen Carsland yet which is crazy. My Mom is also a Disney nut so I can't believe it has been so many years since she has gone!

How in the world am I supposed to buy tickets on Monday on dates for an event that hasn't been announced? This is odd even for Disney.

Also there was nothing in the blurb about Visa card holders being part of that early group that can buy Monday.

When I was looking back through the older Parks Blog posting about HalloweenTime, there was one when they did make the announcement on the day when the tickets went on sale. So it's possible that given the predicted start date for HalloweenTime, the D23 Expo, and the roll out of MaxPass, they aren't in a huge hurry to announce the dates for the MHP. In some ways, I'm surprised that they announced MaxPass this week; I kind of thought they'd want all the focus on D23 which is happening just down the street for DLR.

Disney Visa people can always buy their tickets on the same day they become available to AP holders and DVC members, but they have to call in instead of order online.

Bored. waiting for the announcement, so I am gonna ask a question, just to be asking. Use your crystal ball. What time do you think a party would start on a Wednesday. We fly in at 11 to LAX. by the time we get to the hotel and could be at the park it will be about 1ish. if we could go into the park at 3 then i don't think it would be worth it to buy a regular park admission for two hours. Although, i am buying 3 day park hoppers and it would only be 20$ more per person for 5 people. (the other people in our group have annual passes but don't want to go in without everybody)
Also, I want to buy 11 tickets for our group, will they let me buy that many?

In your shoes I'd do a big meal at a DtD restaurant with your whole group instead and just use Party tickets that day.

Things could always change this year, but the way the schedules usually run for the Halloween Party are that any party nights other than Fridays and Saturday nights start at 6 p.m. and end at 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday parties start at 7 p.m. and end at midnight. So a Wednesday party would start at 6 p.m. and end at 11 p.m., unless something has changed. You can enter Disneyland at 3 p.m. with a party ticket.

So in 2015 we stopped for one night in LA on the way to WDW and bought tickets to MHP we landed about 12:30 from memory, we did t stay in Anaheim since we had an early morning flight the next day.
It took us hours to get through the airport to the hotel and pick up our rental car, we didn't get to Disney until at least 6pm (I was quietly loosing my mind in the LA traffic)
