Nope.Do you have to go somewhere and get your picture taken after the 10k if you're doing the gsc?

It does but the USATF course certification shows the castle as part of the course.I'm studying the pdf of the race map now that I can enlarge it better, and it really does look like we will not be running through the castle.
which garmin do you have?

Training question! Do any of you guys use the Galloway run/walk/run training method? If so, do you use the app?
Thanks for the info. I thought I knew every bathroom in the MK, but I can not place the one to the left past Buzz. We always go to the big ones close to Space Mountain when we are in the park. I'll have to check them out on our MK day before the race.
We also do run/walk intervals. In fact, I switched to shorter intervals this year because we are faster that way. We usually do 30/30 with longer run segments when we feel strong. I use my Garmin and set it to 30/30. When we want to go longer, we just run through the buzz. I love my Garmin because it vibrates, so I don't have to listen for something.
I have the Garmin Forerunner 220 which they don't make it anymore. I got mine in 2014. It's no frills and doesn't have a lot of features, but it gets the job done. It's so out of date it needs a chest strap to monitor a heart rate (which I don't use). I'll be using it until it dies LOL!!!
ETA: I also have the Vivosmart HR+, but don't use it for runs. For some reason mine is not accurate at all for pace or distance. Probably got a dud. When I run a 5K it will tell me I ran 4-4.5 miles.
Ouch!! I remember in high school when I had shin issues that the trainer had plastic Dixie cups that she filled with water and kept in the freezer. She'd tear the top edge of the cup off to expose the ice and hold on to the bottom of the cup and rub the ice on our shins...like an ice massage. Not sure if my explanation makes sense but there's a picture here: http://aerogeeks.com/2013/01/25/shin-splints-tools-for-treatment-and-prevention/So I think I have a shin splint. My daughter's soccer league has this stupid rule that teams cannot hold practice from the time regular season ends and playoffs begin. Her last season game was on Sunday and her team placed first in her division. Because of this we got a bye for the quarter finals and go directly to the semi-finals. She will not see her team again until the 15th!!! So anyway, I took her to the soccer field yesterday to practice and ended up doing more sprint type running than I anticipated. I woke up this morning and my shin was feeling like I banged against something. Nothing truly painful so I wore compression calf sleeves on my run this afternoon. I felt fine on my run and there was no pain, but now my shin hurtsI'm about to go take some ibuprofen, do some stretches and ice it. I just read that foam rolling may help, but I don't have one!!! Anything else I should be doing?

Ice, compression and rest will probably help! In my case it was the pounding from gymnastics/tumbling that did it. Sounds like for you it was the pounding from sprints!
I had a problem with my corral for marathon and I emailed them instead of waiting for the expo. They were really great about it, they checked my registration and emailed me back that they would change my corral at the expo. I still had to wait in the race relations line but it made the process so much easier since they didn't have to look up anything while we were standing there. disneysports@trackshack.comI just have a question about corral placement. My husband (who ran cross country throughout college on scholarship) submitted a POT with an estimated finish time of 1:47 for the Princess half. However, he was placed in Corral I. How is this possible when that corral has a finish time of 2:48? He is worried about having to slow his 7:45 minute mile pace (which is what is most comfortable for him) because of all the people in his corral and those in front of him. He isn't concerned about a PR oanything, he just wants to run comfortably and slower isn't. It just doesn't seem safe for him or the other runners in the corral. Anybody have any clue as to why such a low placement for him?
My shin is feeling much better today. It still hurts a little so I'm going to just continue ice and stretching and will skip tomorrow's run.
Leaving for Disney 2 weeks from TODAY!!![]()
Starting to get Disney-itis BAD. Today I will be looking for some reports from 2016's races to start studying up!!![]()
Oh my! And here I thought planning a trip for 3 was challenging!Me too!
I am also currently planning a trip for 39. My DD17's HS band. That is helping to pass the time. I'm doing FP on Thursday next week. That should be an adventure.

The trip is going to be a bit of a nightmare. We are flying down the Monday after Easter, and coming home on Friday. The whole week is 10/10 on the crowd calendars, and AP's are blacked out. We have one day at each park, including travel days, and they decided that they want to do a day at Universal too. Plus they are performing at Disney Springs on Tuesday.
I finally convinced the teachers to let me be in charge of the Disney planning, so I'm feeling a bit better about it now. The TA is not a Disney expert, so she is fine with my taking over too.You should see the binder and planning spreadsheets. It has taken me hours.
