Quick question about the Nov. operating hours pdf someone shared (thanks to that person!!!)-
I notice under the Wishes and Electric Parade, it's listed as NONE, while illuminations has a time. Am I missing something? What does that "none" mean? TIA!

The will be added eventually, but I find it quite frustrating planning out my park days.

Every year by the end of the trip, we've had enough Disney-we call this our Disney Hangover. We go through the whole "maybe we will/should vacation somewhere else next time" thing. Then within a few months, often quicker than that, we start to hear Disney whisper to us once again. So I'll go to start looking at dates and promos, etc. and before you know it I'm in full withdraw and here I am- waiting with my fellow addicts for FD, lol.

This year-I WILL be booking BB. I'm going to do it the day we get there before my head hits the pillow on the first night while the excitement is fresh and the Hangover is still a week away.

I will admit this thread really does add to the excitement:tongue:

This is us! Each year, while at the end of our Disney trip the kids ask "when are we coming back?!" my response is always in 10 years because I am exhausted and they aren't acting like I want them to. Then a few months later I am talking to DH about when we can return. It's the only vacation I ever want to take honestly!

I have no plans on returning in 2017 because our Disney trips are usually every 1 1/2 - 2 years, but I WILL be booking BB just in case.

Actually, the reason PH work so well for us (even as two adults) is because we take afternoon breaks lol We usually hit up a park in the am, stay until after lunch, head back to the hotel for some swimming or a nap/shower then head out for the night to another park.
That's how we do it too! My boys are 3 (on 4/25! Hopefully he gets FD on his birthday!) and 4.5!!!

how do you put the count down on your posts?

If you click on someone's countdown it will take you to a site where you can make one, copy the code and go to your signature(under your name top right corner of the page) and paste.

OMG, yes! I know exactly what you're talking about. It usually takes me 2-3 months after returning from a trip to start wanting to plan the next one. "Disney Hangover" and Disney whisper . . . very real things! :)

We thought we would use them since we were forced to buy them last year, but just didn't. Over the years, we have found that we spend less time in the parks then we did in the past. we used to do mid day breaks with the kids when they were younger. Now we leave mid day and don't go back.
:rotfl2:

We are the opposite. Now that my kids are slightly older, I feel they can handle the transitions better. If we had come back to the room when they were younger, we never would have made it back out to the parks!

I want to start planning as soon as we land in Orlando.

I've never bought the PH before (Or had FD for that matter!), but I'm excited to have it this trip. We are getting it regardless of if we get FD. I think it will be kind of fun to do EMH at MK..stay through lunch...then hop over to Epcot for dinner. My youngest will be 9, so it definitely seems more manageable now that the kids are a bit older. Just doesn't seem as appealing with little kids.

I also think the PH can help out with my Epcot issues....if everything stays tier 1....if I have the PH, I can do 1 park early in the morning (RD) where I won't need FP's, then hop to Epcot in the evening and ride FEA or Soarin' or TT...with my 1 tier 1 FP. That's my hope anyway!!

They don't allow you to modify the bounce back offer?
Just like any reservation, you can only modify your bounce back for different dates or resorts if there is availability. And for people who booked their bb with the old ticket prices, any modification will give you the new ticket prices. My sister tried to add a day to her free dining bounceback and they wouldn't let her do it unless she switched to a Royal room from her standard room. So she just added a room only reservation for the one day instead of changing her bounceback. It was a lot cheaper.

I always buy the park hopper because we usually end up at Epcot or MK at night on the days we go to HS or AK
