The bounce back offer had fd up to Oct 1st so the general offer will probably include up to that date too

So a question about the BB does it usually allow you to book for any day? Or do you need to do it around the time you have already booked?

You can book for anytime within that BB date range offered if rooms are still available.

I made the mistake of waiting too long to decide and by the time I reached back out to my TA she had no more availability under the exclusive deal at the resort I wanted so I would say absolutely book what you can now because you can always change.

I'm really keeping my fingers crossed that it drops on Monday but I'm going to go with logic and say it will drop the later part of May or June 10th That is the last day to book this current offer. I really do hope I'm wrong!!

My 2 cents on booking.

Please do not tell people to NOT reserve ahead of time so FD wil be offered. Its bad advice.

If you are planning on going to WDW no matter what , your best best is to book in advance . Many resort hotels get booked up 6 months out. (Poly has no regular rooms for many weeks in November already) . If you wait to book its possible all the rooms in you selected resort and room category will be unavaiable.
If you cannot travel UNLESS FD is offered then I suppose you have no choice. But to suggest other people should not book a major vacation just so we can have a better shot at FD is just over the top.

The avaiablilty of FD will always be dependent on the need to fill rooms, just dont put you magical vacation plans in jeopardy waiting and waiting and waiting for a deal that might be very limited at your choosen resort.

The only variation seems to be when the promotion starts in November - 11th or 15th, but so far I haven't seen any rumors on here about adding days in October. And no word about RO yet that I've seen.

I wasn't here last year, but was there more chatter/rumors right before it actually dropped? Today has been very, very quiet from those in the know which leads me to believe maybe nothing is happening tomorrow (not that I won't be up making sure!).

I'm happy to see someone else is at the same place as us in this process. We have our flights booked and we're going no matter what. I'm just praying it's at a discounted rate of some sort.

. Hoping the November 11th FD date is the correct one. There are 8 of us that are going regardless. We got a real good deal on airfare and all of our vacation days have been submitted. Would be awesome not to pay for 8 people to eat at Disney for the week! Good luck everyone!!!

Thanks for the suggestion, I have no filters on so that's not it.

I don't have the 2 Military, the Visa or the Kids size. We are not Military so maybe why I don't see that one, Don't have a DV so maybe why I don't see that one and haven't book Kids in our room in 20 years so maybe that explains that one.
I do book with them a lot so they must know what we are about I guess. Thank you for taking the time to list the offers.

I only have 5 offers too! I just assumed it was because I was Canadian and they might not apply to me.

I agree. If you are planning on going anyway then book. I have not booked even though my dates will not change because I am waiting on a better deal than the one offered by the Wedding planner. That being said, I have the wedding room block to fall back on and my Daughter did pick the 3 resorts I would stay at anyway. Now the room block is for Standard rooms only and I prefer preferred pool view at Pop and Woods view at Wilderness and the Standard room is what we book when staying at French Quarter but if nothing better shows up I will take what I can get. If you are going to cancel without free dining then don't book.

What a breath of fresh air!! I completely agree with you!!!! Part of the magic is booking. Last time I booked free dining I had ADR's booked before I knew I was getting free dining. I've NEVER had trouble adding a promotion. Some rooms on property are hard to book and if that's your dream....book ahead of time!!! Keep the magic and be positive to those who ask!

There haven't been any credible rumors to support that date. From what I remember from earlier posts, someone said they thought they saw that date and when they looked again it was gone. But it was just someone who thought they saw something not something that came from a respected source.

Exactly. I don't think anyone is suggesting not to book if you are planning on going regardless of FD. And I don't think it is just so that it increases the odds of one individual's vacation getting FD either. It is so that there are more available in general for EVERYONE to take advantage of. We need to look at the big picture...

I have a lot of friends and family that ask me for help planning their Disney trips and I pretty much tell them the same thing. If you are going no matter what, then absolutely book your trip asap. If not, then hang back and wait for an offer, just be ready to book. Know what you want and have a back up plan.

May 2 2014 was the last time DV had Free Dining release early and it was a Friday and GP was released 5 days later. The 2 years before that it was a Thursday and a Monday.

I don't have a DV, but I was hoping for them they get an early crack at it. With that being said, I hope it gets released to the GP Monday bc I can't take another week of this!!

I'm starting to feel like what's the point of having a Disney Visa if they aren't always giving DV holders the head start on promotions. That's the best perk they offer IMHO.
