I see UK FD was released today-Was it speculated that UK would get released today?! Just wondering. I'm so hopeful for GP FD!! Just trying to see if I try to wake up during the night and check the website or wait until Monday!! I'm so anxious about this I doubt I'll sleep tonight!!

Any new rumblings? We got a recorded phone call letting us know that our internet will be down for 4-6 hours, starting at midnight tonight. My first thought was "what if they drop that offer tonight?!"

Does anyone know for sure if you can book say 10 days and then cut it down to 8 (everything else the same just go 2 days later) and not lose your free dining?

Since we did not get a quote from a magical TA, my mom tried another one. The new agent just emailed her saying the Disney TA website was down all day. Is this normal? Maybe that is why no one else got back to me?

Maybe Disney is adding FD?!! I hope, waiting is killing me.

When you book a room or package your really not assigned a particular room at the time off booking. so I'm not convinced that pre booking would black out the offer or resort. Why is all star sports always blacked out of the free dining promotion?

Its not the room number that matters, its the number of rooms. HUGE difference.

Oh no, don't tell me that! Right now I am booked at ASSp! I'll be calling weekly until my trip to see if any discounts open at Pop or AoA though. AoA is my goal. But I have 30% off at ASSp so it's nearly twice the price to stay at AoA if I don't get a discount there.

Someday I'd like to try the dining package, but FD doesn't make sense for me financially. I receive military offers on rooms and tickets, so the room only discount + Armed Forces Salute ticket + OOP dining saves me $200 over getting free dining. And I'm doing both US and WDW this trip while staying at ASSp the whole time, so it doesn't make sense for me to buy QSDP for the days I won't be eating on Disney property. But...someday!



Hahaha, I know what you mean. My parents use TAs for about half their trips but I never have. I love planning and I can hunt down a good deal with the best of 'em

Oh don't worry, plenty of people like All Star Sports. We just had a bad experience, which soured us on the resort but that can happen anywhere. Disney did make it as right as they could. So no worries! It's just not the resort for us, we missed Pop and kept comparing to our experiences at Pop.

I would not recommend this, last year people had problems making any changes like that. In the past it had not been a problem but Disney cracked down on that last year. Others can tell you more.

I think it's interesting how the numbers on the poll at the top of the page have changed. October numbers have come down quite a bit. Wonder if it's all due to the speculation that FD won't be offered?!

It's not as easy to do this as it used to be. I was unable to add a day on this year, and take a day off last year. Try to get your days right when you book.

I don't access this thread for a few hours and return to ten plus pages. Just scanned through all the new posts and it seems that there is nothing concrete yet. There may or may not be an early DV release tomorrow and GP release on Monday. Sound about right?

Please do tell more. Last year I booked free dining but then when airfare prices dropped it was WAY cheaper to fly to book an extra day on each end of the trip. There was availability for the end of the trip but not the beginning so we had to do a split stay. No big deal it worked out fine but to resolve that issue this year I was just going to stick an extra day on the end of the trip and then decrease the trip if needed. We fly Southwest and their Nov date rates won't be available until June. Def don't want to mess up FD if we can get it. Please advise if I shouldn't add the extra day.

My TA told me the same thing and she thinks that means it'll drop tomorrow (but couldn't guess if it would be visa holders first of not). She said usually the day before a big change their site acts up...
